Booked this hotel as somewhere to lay our heads for the night and have breakfast , after a party we were attending in Derby . Good Parking , excellent location close to Derby centre . The room was adequate , staff were good and polite. The main problem was you couldn't turn the heating down and the room was so... More

I have taken some time prior to writing this review, to give the hotel the right of reply from me filling out the Best Western Customer Survey, that you can fill in as a Diamond Member. Since they decided to send me a generic pre-written response; I decided I'd write my full opinions of this hotel. This is by far... More

Stayed in the Stuart last night and again, hotel didn't deliver. Used only as was unable to find any last minute accommodation for under £150. I did firmly say to myself that I would never use again after previous experience: Booked the same hotel 5 weeks ago and was called on the day of my stay in the morning to... More

Booking made 1 month in advance but an issue with their website bookings meant I was forced to drastically compromise on the accommodation as I had no time to look for an alternative hotel (I rang 2 days before my arrival to say I would be a day late arriving). Was given a single room with no breakfast. On arrival... More

Arrived just after 12 even though check in should be 2.30pm. Friendly gentleman on reception doubled as barman as seemed understaffed but check in was done very efficiently and obligingly early. Booked on best western website and got superior double including breakfast for £41.30 which was a great deal. Room was clean, bed comfortable and was able to turn radiator... More

Booked this via last minute.com and paid £60 plus 8.50 for breakfast for one night so it was good value for money, Room was good size with large double bed. Bed was comfortable and room furnishing good. The bathroom was a bit dated and the shower was not very powerful. Parking was difficult, but I did arrive very late (10.10pm)... More

Generally and all round poor experience. Although I had booked in advance Check in was slow and tardy, basically they could find my booing. when I asked what was wrong the man at the desk said he didn't know! The room, executive double, was out dated with a very weak shower, broken radiator and badly constructed and uncomfortable bed (two... More

The hotel is not good, we booked a spacious superior family room with robes slippers and a lounge area. What a joke! It was tiny, my sons bed was not made and when they made up the sofa bed the mattress had been tied underneath to hold it on. The room was far from superior and was very small. The... More
