If you are after luxury and a Full English breakfast, this isn't the hotel for you. But, as others have rightly said (before complaining), you get what you pay for, and it really isn't a bad deal at all. The whole hotel is a little bit tired and in need of a thorough refurbishment throughout. However, our room was perfectly... More

Several couples stated for two nights to attend the local beer festival.... We were met by unhelpful staff and people sleeping in the reception in the middle of the afternoon.... The rooms were filthy, and Ill equipped... We were 4 floors up but the room was so noisy sleep was impossible. Breakfast was hit and miss, staff were absent and... More

Stayed at this place in March 2015 in a single room it was pretty rough to say the least and the shower cubicle was so small you couldn't raise your arms to wash yourself, if you can find somewhere else to stay then do so!

If you like a hotel that's quiet, comfortable, modern and somewhere to get a good night sleep GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This is the worst place I've ever been to. Cars racing past the window at half past 2 in the morning, drunken people shouting down the corridors, listening to several televisions through the paper thin walls at a time, draws... More

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend. We had a premier room. Not really what I would class as premier. We were pretty worried about the state of the hotel going off reviews on here. But as there was a party of us we all wanted to stay together. I have to say. It wasn't as bad as some... More

The rooms don't look anything like the rooms in the pictures that's for sure. The entire place looks like it needs a good lick of paint. There was a few bits to make tea and coffee in the rooms and that was all, not even any soap in the bathroom which was very dated and the toilet did not flush... More

Staff were rude Rooms are shockingly bad, nothing like the pictures. Tried to speak to a manager to complain but was presented with a piece of paper to write it down. Still no reply a week later Pay extra and be presented with some actual service. Sometimes cheap aint best!

This place can best be described as "serviceable" at best. The cheap prices are a reflection of the quality of the the place, or should I say lack of. Even the so called executive suite isn't that special. It is basically an old tired building in much need of being completely refurbished. I won't go into too much detail about... More

Stayed here for 8 nights on business. Rooms are miserable, bathrooms don't seem clean, and have mould. My room had a microwave, a kettle and a tv, which is good. It also includes breakfast, which is alright, cereal and toast, yoghurts and a bit of fruit- standard. It is close to town, but also on a very dodgy road which... More
