I stayed at the hotel for one evening on business and found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The hotel has a spa facility with a sizeable swimming pool. It was very nicely decorated and also has a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi in. If I were to criticise it I would say that the changing facilities were... More

A very nice hotel, room has everything you could ask for - except a long lie... Cleaners start very early compared to any other hotels I've stayed in! There was about 4 or 5 cleaner trolleys already in the corridor before 8am when I went for breakfast. One morning I came back to my room after breakfast and the cleaner... More

Stayed here one Saturday night & thought the hotel ok, nothing really special but certainly not bad and would recommend it, needs money spent on the pool area and bathrooms, there was a heater in our room with aircon/warm air circulator & needed it as the room did get very cold, breakfast again was ok but had better in similar... We stayed for two nights on the special break offer which was a really great deal. Bed and breakfast and 3 course dinner on a night of your choice! Good location and it is near a tesco and petrol station. Relaxed and friendly place to stay, would stay again!

We had an overnight stay at this hotel, it was beautifully clean, staff were excellent. On checking in we were asked if we would be dining in the hotel restaurant, we said possibly, my husband is a Vegan and we asked if that would be a problem as we had given no prior warning, no they said we will speak... Being a regular visitor to Derby for business this is my fav place. Close to where I need to be (no car needed), all the things I need at hand. Good bed, bar, dinner, breakfast, wifi and a gym. Plus you can go for a run. Nothing fancy but perfect for a business trip. Can recommend to everybody.

After several attempts to find a decent hotel in Derby that is also well priced, Myself and colleagues have stayed at this hotel many a time over the last few months and wouldn't risk going anywhere else. Good price, good food, BRILLIANT service and I'm sure the gym etc are brilliant too (I'm just too lazy to go in there... More

From the 9th March 2015 - 13th March 2015 I had a Unison course to attend here. From the moment I walked into the hotel I was greeted with politeness but as the week went on it just got better. Picked this place up for a quick stay for this area, and it was a decent place, fair sized rooms with balcony, beds are a little hard if you like it soft. Samsung TV with Sky Sports.
