Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter, never been to derby before was pleasantly surprised. Although the coach house is a little way out of the centre, it was in a lovely location with a few choices of eating places close by. Room was cosy and clean and the breakfast was good quality food. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Coach House for one night in their large spacious double room with en suite. It's in a nice area just outside the city centre, within easy drive of the Peak District National Park. Excellent communication in advance of my visit, regarding a late check-in and out. And the place itself was very clean, with some lovely attention... More

Such a difficult review to write as the more people that know of this gem of a place the more difficult it will be for me to book. The Coachouse is a beautiful old building run by a mother and daughter close to the heart of Derby city centre. The rooms are bright and nicely decorated and the beds are... More

We were welcomed by the owner who showed us around he beautiful home. Our room was lovely with its own shower and the bed was very comfortable. Our room overlooked the garden which was lovely. I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in quite some time and the breakfast was perfect - I recommend the sausage and black pudding,... More

I can honestly say that this hotel is run beautifully, and that it over exceeded my expectation in every possible way. It really was a home from home with tremendous service, warm friendly and courteous. We booked two rooms and the beds were very comfortable, and furnished beautifully and 100% clean and dust free ! My lovely, cozy room had... More

My sister and I returned to Derby (our place of birth) to scatter my mother's ashes with lots of our family, including dad and gran, at Markeaton Crematorium. We picked The Coach House as it was near to where we used to live in Allestree and near the Crematorium. The room we had was lovely, with en suite and the... More
