Have stayed here fir the past 3 weeks having been booked in by the firm. great location and friendly welcome upon arrival and since I've been there. bar is reasonably priced but the cooler went down 1night and the beer was warm but not their fault. rooms (top floor) are small but ideal for 1 or 2 persons and are... My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night on the 10th August 2014. We arrived at the hotel from around the back, which I must say is not the first impression you would wish to see. Spacious car park but the building looks rather run down. From the front however the building looks like it has some... More

As a couple we like travelling to places that we haven't visited before. We like to have a look around the area, check in late afternoon, chill, change and have a meal and a drink (or several) in the hotel restaurant and bar. Before making this booking I checked that there was a restaurant and a bar, it had both... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting the area with my partner. The location is pretty good if visiting Derby and only 30mins drive from The Peak District with plenty to see and do in the local area. This hotel has FREE onsite parking which is a huge plus. From the outside this hotel reminds me of an... More

We stayed here for one night and we will definitely be back. Lovely looking building, clean, comfortable, tasty breakfast and staff were very helpful. Amazing value for money! There was a wedding on and we couldn't use the bar but we weren't bothered about that. The hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk from the town centre.

This is a very strange hotel which could be lovely but is awful. Old historic building that has been converted in to a hotel but suffers from investment. Room was very noisy next to generator, bar is dirty and feels more like a social club type bar. I am guessing that the owners are just sweating this asset!

Stayed here for the second time in recent months through work and again the hotel didn't disappoint. The bedrooms are a little small but comfy & with all amenities. The staff are polite & helpful in particular Gavin, who works on the bistro. Breakfast was excellent & if you ask the staff will cook your eggs to your liking. Overall... More

I chose to stay at The Derby Conference Centre because of its central location, specifically to the train station and value for money. I had an early morning meeting in London so the proximity to the train station made the whole early morning get up more bearable!!! The room I stayed in was lovely and the hot shower and comfy... The Derby Conference Centre Hotel is odd. In fact I had to ask if this was a hotel. It's a large Art Deco building, mostly used for conferences and functions. There was a job fair on when I stayed. The rooms are small and converted from the original spaces- probably offices. But Ok for all that. The food is awful,... More
