Stayed here for the weekend, hotel was clean, staff were polite, and the room was freshly decorated, would use again. The hotel is next to Derby County's football ground, good if you want to watch a match, also there's frankness and bennys just across the road. Being on the outskirts of Derby makes it an ideal place to tour from.

I got a rate of £50 so was happy with what I got for that. If you are walking it's a bit confusing how to get to reception as it's at the front of the hotel but there's no obvious path at the front. If you drive you park at the back and that's actually how you get in on... More

WHEN oh when willl Travelodge wake up and realise that 90% of its custom is business travellers who rely on good internet connections. Firstly they charge £3 per device and most importantly the connection is virtually useless it's strangled so much. SERIOUSLY Travelodge get it sorted.. Most of us travellers choose your hotels because they are easy to book, invariably... More

I have stayed twice with work; once for about £43 to include breakfast and once for about £57. The room was spotless and large and the welcome was really friendly. The breakfast, whilst not incredible was good especially for the price. The breakfast area could do with a bit of a spruce up as the tables are chipped. All in... More

I stayed here for 1 night in August. I wanted a cheap room to sleep for the night that was not too far from the station but far enough to avoid the Friday night pub traffic. This was perfect for that. The hotel is a 10 minute easy walk from the station and you walk past a few places to... More

I found my stay at the Travel Lodge very enjoyable, from the comfort of the rooms to the staff at the reception desk/bar particularly Jade and Gareth who are very approachable friendly and professional. Overall i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and when next in the area i will book in again!

Very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean with a wonderful double bed - I am not very good at sleeping in a strange bed - but I was out like a light! The full English breakfast was great too.

My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights for an Alton Towers trip. The Travelodge is about 45 mins from the park. Whilst it may not be the closest travelodge to the park we prefer this location for what it has surrounding it. It has plenty of restaurants within walkable distances: Chiquito, Frankie and Bennies, Harvester as well as... More

Stayed here on Sat 4th Oct along with many others who'd traveled from all over the country for a reunion party nearby, the average age of our group was 50/60 and so appallingly rude were the nightstaff it became akin to an episode of Fawlty Towers, when on earth did it become acceptable to berate people for having a drink...
