Have stayed at this hotel twice now and will probably book again this year. The bedrooms were adequate and the bed comfortable. All facilities were clean. English breakfasts were very good. Hotel car park saves on parking charges as the hotel is not far from the town centre. has a cosy looking tv lounge but we didn't use it.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and our bags were carried to our room. Our room was clean and the tea making facilities are good. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. We stayed for three nights, leaving our car in the Hotel car park. It is an easy walk into the city or a no10 bus passes the door,... More

Stayed for one night. Went home with 50 bed bug bites. I've stayed in a LOT of hotels and never experienced this in the UK before. Terrible experience. If you fancy getting a few bites it might be 'ok' for the money...

We stayed in one of the family rooms in this Gloucester b&b. As others have mentioned the decor is dated, but it's clean and the room we had at the back of the hotel was quiet. the family room has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It's walking distance into gloucester and the staff gave us good directions and helpful hints... More

We stayed during the Christmas market weekend and paid a very reasonable price for a two night stay. When we arrived, the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful, giving us advice about the best places to eat (the Tapas restaurant just a five minute walk away had great food). The room was nice, breakfast was good, and we... More

easy to find as its in the main road in. The entrance to the car park is covered in pot holes so drive slowly, the car park is big enough for about 15 cars. We parked up and left it for the weekend. Check in was easy, the lady was pleasant and suggested places to eat but the gentleman wasnt... More

First tip: if arriving by car there is a free car park at the hotel, but you have to drive past the terrace of houses where the hotel is and approach from the back. Second tip: don't book here if you want uniform and predictable rooms like in big hotel chains. This is several terrace houses merged together with lots... More

When we (six of us) arrived we were met by the owner who made us feel very welcome. He invited us to the lounge where there was a big log fire burning very homely. He gave us information on the best places to eat, drink and visit etc. during our stay which was extremely helpful. Our rooms were warm, very... More
