What a transformation after a chequered past. Have eaten there tonight and have booked a table for next Friday for visiting friends. They deserve to do well - great food. Lots of fresh fish. Very attentive staff

Had heard good reviews and was somewhat dis-appointed in this restaurant. A cramped and confusing layout inside with nothing special about the decor. Chalk menu boards on the wall but oddly no paper menus to consult at your table. This may suit the staff but not the paying customer who does not want to keep jumping up and finding a... More

I have passed this establishment hundreds of times in my life time going back n forth in the area and never ventured in until last sunday. My partner and I wanted a lunch and thought we would give it a whirl. The place was very busy but they were very helpful and managed to squeeze us in out in the... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Inn for a week. There is a variety of good food (+1 for the salmon and seabass dish with Mediterranean vegetables) Myles and his team are very nice and welcoming. Thank you!

Formerly The Rose and Crown, now The Inn At Redmarley, is run by the same company that owns the Duke of York not far away at Berrow, which I have also favourably reviewed as one if our two favourite locals. Now we have three good ones to visit. The new team have a way to go to equal the Duke... More

We made a quick journey to Gloucester yesterday evening, and passed THE INN en route. We decided to stop for something to eat on the way back. Firstly, I agree with the comment about the name. It's most definitely The Inn at Redmarley, not the Rose & Crown. Secondly, we sat at the same table another reviewer absolutely hated (the... More

Booked a table for two for dinner several days in advance. We arrived on time and were taken into a very noisy crowded bar and shown to a small table next to the old front door in a dingy alcove that could best be described as a like sitting in a small broom cupboard and so close to the bar... Spoilt for choice now! With the Duke of York at nearby Berrow run by the same team we have gone from having no decent pubs in the area in 2011 to 2 very good ones in 2014. Long may it last. As with anything starting anew there's been a few gltiches as reflected in other's reviews. We've eaten at the... More

Now the Inn at Redmarley, this pub has been recently refurbished and taken over by new owners. Having heard a few good things about it recently we thought it was worth a visit. We were very pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. The menu is really good (maybe a few too many things to chose from) and the... More

7 of us called in last Saturday (3rd May) for a meal. Although fully booked, Lizzie went out of her way to set up a table in their function room, which as it turned out was even better than if we had been sat in the main restaurant. The food was excellent, being well prepared using very good quality meat... More
