This little pub used to be called The Rose & Crown. It has had a refurb, change of ownership and has been renamed as The Inn. It is a typical cosy Herefordshire pub. This seasons hops are hanging from the bar. The food choices are displayed on chalk boards which they bring to the table. It offers incredible value for... More

Nice cosy pub.....menu limited....menu all on boards that they carry around so not easy to read once they have been smudged for the 100th time. Food ok not outstanding but reasonable. Just feel they are trying to be something their not!

We had a great Sunday lunch last sunday. Our party was six adults. The food was really fresh and hot with great service.A great choice of roasts and other dishes. Our table was a tad on the small size but as this is an old country pub with loads of atmosphere it was to be expected. We really enjoyed the meal and... More

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars for The Inn. 3 stars being 'pretty good' which I think sums up the food nicely. Good, well priced, honest food......not out of this world, but certainly good value and satisfying. The service was worthy of 4 stars. Upon arrival, the chef/landlord who greeted us and our children was warm, friendly and offered... More

Visited for the second time on Saturday with my parents who live locally. Lovely cosy pub/restaurant although thought it was very quiet for a saturday evening. Food as always excellent and if anything the portions are so big -especially on the starters - that you have no chance of finishing them! Only complaint would be the service which is very... More

We visited yesterday for the first time with friends who live in the area. Really lovely meal plenty of choice my husband had the seabass and salmon which he said was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the service very attentive. A really lovely place and we hope to visit again.

Really glad to see this place on the up: as the old Rose & Crown it went through a variety of landlords and never really got off the ground. Living in the area the past 10 years, this has to be one of the best sunday lunches around: tasty, good portions, plenty of veg, good ales, and a keen price.... More

For my first visit with 6 friends on a Saturday night, my expectations of probably poor service and kitchen mayhem were not realised. The place was heaving, our table was ready when we arrived and our meals were delightful. An excellent menu and very attentive staff. A good range of dishes. The only criticism, the wines were just a little... More

Restaurant it certainly isn't. Our table was squashed in between several other tables with no room for a comfortable meal. Also we felt as if we were with the other two or three tables, all conversations mixed in to one. It was very loud and not creating a eating atmosphere. The staff seemed to be friendly but again more bar... More
