For my first visit with 6 friends on a Saturday night, my expectations of probably poor service and kitchen mayhem were not realised. The place was heaving, our table was ready when we arrived and our meals were delightful. An excellent menu and very attentive staff. A good range of dishes. The only criticism, the wines were just a little... More

Excellent atmosphere with great food for good prices. They had a lovely bar area, and have a good number of seating space. very intimate and quaint with a lot of Animal Paintings on the walls. Had a great time

Restaurant it certainly isn't. Our table was squashed in between several other tables with no room for a comfortable meal. Also we felt as if we were with the other two or three tables, all conversations mixed in to one. It was very loud and not creating a eating atmosphere. The staff seemed to be friendly but again more bar... More

Having recently enjoyed a meal with my husband we rebooked for a family dinner, 5 of us and requested a specific table. On arrival our table had been laid up in restaurant as opposed to the specific one requested in bar. Bar staff quickly sorted it and meal order was placed. Food not quite as good as previous visit, my... More

Tried the Inn at Redmarley yesterday for lunch but I'm afraid I couldn't be as enthusiastic as some of the reviews. A rather confusing layout to the place with a counter in the lobby which suggested we might be shown to a table, as if it were a restaurant, but as nobody was there we walked through to find a... We have been to this pub about 18 months + ago when it was called The Rose & Crown but at that time it was looking a little tired. So we had moved on for our meeting with our good friends .But as it was a lovely sunny day we thought we would give it one more go.What a surprise its... More

A very friendly pub, welcoming staff who were chatty and relaxed. Really good food and excellent value for money. Did prefer the old menu, and sadly right next to the a417, but don't let that put you off! A lovely beer garden and also good selection of beers

What a transformation after a chequered past. Have eaten there tonight and have booked a table for next Friday for visiting friends. They deserve to do well - great food. Lots of fresh fish. Very attentive staff

Had heard good reviews and was somewhat dis-appointed in this restaurant. A cramped and confusing layout inside with nothing special about the decor. Chalk menu boards on the wall but oddly no paper menus to consult at your table. This may suit the staff but not the paying customer who does not want to keep jumping up and finding a... More

I have passed this establishment hundreds of times in my life time going back n forth in the area and never ventured in until last sunday. My partner and I wanted a lunch and thought we would give it a whirl. The place was very busy but they were very helpful and managed to squeeze us in out in the... More
