Stayed here last Friday having read reviews, looked fine on arrival - quite modern and friendly , family of four we checked in and went for a bite to et in the quays shopping plaza ( that was nice actually , plenty of choice - Nando's, Ed's Diner ,TGI Fridays etc ). Overnight parking was available in shopping plaza -... More

Just stayed one night friday 22nd aug. From booking online to check in on reception everything was very quick smooth and hassle free. Staff were very friendly smiling and professional and helpfull. Room was clean fresh bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower was good although could do with a longer shower curtain as the floor flooded. Lots of shops... More

We stayed here for two nights as a base to meet with family in the area. We found the hotel to be very good value for money and the staff very helpful. Parking was next to the hotel at the shopping centre and ticket could be validated at reception for a reduced rate. Location was great. The room was small,... More

Although we had pre booked and pre paid, we were so disappointed on arrival that we drove on and booked another hotel. We therefore lost the cost of our room, but no way would we stay there. The hotel entrance is on a double yellow line, and a bus stop, so you couldn`t park to check in or unload your... More

Overall a very good night sleep, no noise at all, could not hear any traffic at all, very close to the town centre . only let down is it costs £10.00 to park in the multi storey car park in all still not a bad price for 24 hours. However when you check in they deduct your ticket to £6.00.

Very basic room, that felt somewhat like a small caravan or portacabin. The shower curtain was hung too high, such that the bathroom got wet from the water splashing beneath it. Also, there was no shelf on which to place my toiletries. I stayed on a warm day, and on arrival my room was too warm. However, the integral air... More

Alright, standard travel lodge really but the entrance is a bit like a prison. Hair on the sheets, no where to put our case, air con on freezing when we got in to our room. Had a bit of a drama with hairdryer, not enough to go around from reception and none in the room so TAKE YOUR OWN HAIRDRYER!... More

Stayed here for two nights to visit the royal international air tattoo. Was very impressed, staff friendly, amazing food at good value, lovely breakfast with vast choice. The only reason it did not get 5 from me is that the mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable, however I appreciate that's down to personal taste! I will most certaintly be... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. We parked easily but found the signage for the Travelodge from the car park slightly confusing. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was fine, windows that opened, clean and (new) comfy bed. Only gripe was that the shower curtain was not long enough meaning water on the floor and we had... More

We stayed here for one night as we were in town for a wedding. The parking was a bit confusing and not very clear but we sorted it eventually. Too busy and loud. The room was to an ok standard and the breakfast was ok the following day. Cheap price you get what you pay for.
