I accidentally left my phone charger plugged in and having contacted the hotel twice now, no one has returned my call to say that they found it allowing me to collect it. This is so frustrating, especially as I contacted them initially within hours of checking out.

This was my first stay in one of the upgraded travel lodge hotels. What an improvement; I would go as far as to say they'll give premier lodge a run for there money if this one is going to be the standard for the future.

We stayed in Gloucester for one night and got a last minute booking through Booking.com. Check in was quick and easy, and we ended up with a family suite, which was great for 2 adults but would have been cramped with another bed and body in it. The room was clean and bed bearable. Wi-fi is available but extremely slow.... More

Initial impression on our first visit to this location was positive. However , all that changed when the live band and disco in the adjoining pub kept myself and child awake until 1.00 the next morning. Clearly a regular event as the staff did not want to do anything about it. Expressed sympathy but in my view simply not good... More

We stayed at this travelodge on a sunday night in may 2015. It was well placed at Gloucester quays near the shopping outlet centre and just a ten minute walk to the cathedral. The rooms are the usual travelodge with a very comfortable new bed - and though we faced the road it was very quiet and there were few... More

Firstly, the good things. Check in was quick and efficient, and I was in my room nice and speedily. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable - I had a good night's sleep. And these are the two most important factors in a hotel for me. Secondly, the not-so-good. There is 30 minutes' free WiFi, after which... More

A good basic clean hotel. Good value for money and could take our dog in. An excellent location for exploring Gloucester. Would have liked more time there to be able to visit the designer outlet centre! Comfy beds. All you need for a stopover and great value too.

I've just read the comment below about Laura and how bad her customer service is and I completely disagree. She was very friendly and helpful whoever complained about her is obviously after a freebie. It's crazy what people do these days to get something for free. Well done to all the staff in the Travelogde Gloucester. Keep up the good... More

A better than usual Travelodge experience. Very helpful staff, clean tidy with undamaged decor. Very cheap parking. Nothing exceptional, but nothing bad to say about it either. However, this hotel should come with a warning sticker. It is above the Gloucester Quays 'Outlet Village'. If you want M&S and Next clothes at less than half price you will empty your... More

New travelodge above part of the Gloucester Quays development. Parking is a little inconvenient in the mulit-storey, but at least their is a reduced rate for this. Good hot water, good beds, plenty of tea/coffee facilities and the HDMI port on the TV worked (although was a bit difficult to access). Unusually for a travelodge the room had air-conditioning, which... More
