We've been to Travelodge hotels on many occasions but this was our first visit to Gloucester. Hotel was easy to find with our satnav and the info given by the hotel, though you do have to go down to ground level from the car park (Gloucester Quays) then outside, and up again to reception in the hotel. That said, the... More

You would be hard pressed to get a hotel with a better location. Our room was large, clean and, although it was not designated as an accessible room, it was (even with my wheelchair). Well done Travelodge. We had been staying at different hotel for almost 3 weeks and this was in the top 3 in terms of quality of... More

Having stayed at Travelodge before (and vowed never to again) I believed the recent TV campaign and gave Gloucester Quays a go. What an eye - opener - it's brilliant. Spotlessly Clean - Amazingly friendly staff - The best "Chain Hotel" Bed I have ever slept in. Well Done all of you. Only 2 criticisms - which will NOT stop... More

Stayed here last Friday having read reviews, looked fine on arrival - quite modern and friendly , family of four we checked in and went for a bite to et in the quays shopping plaza ( that was nice actually , plenty of choice - Nando's, Ed's Diner ,TGI Fridays etc ). Overnight parking was available in shopping plaza -... More

Just stayed one night friday 22nd aug. From booking online to check in on reception everything was very quick smooth and hassle free. Staff were very friendly smiling and professional and helpfull. Room was clean fresh bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower was good although could do with a longer shower curtain as the floor flooded. Lots of shops... More

We stayed here for two nights as a base to meet with family in the area. We found the hotel to be very good value for money and the staff very helpful. Parking was next to the hotel at the shopping centre and ticket could be validated at reception for a reduced rate. Location was great. The room was small,... More

Although we had pre booked and pre paid, we were so disappointed on arrival that we drove on and booked another hotel. We therefore lost the cost of our room, but no way would we stay there. The hotel entrance is on a double yellow line, and a bus stop, so you couldn`t park to check in or unload your... More

Overall a very good night sleep, no noise at all, could not hear any traffic at all, very close to the town centre . only let down is it costs £10.00 to park in the multi storey car park in all still not a bad price for 24 hours. However when you check in they deduct your ticket to £6.00.

Very basic room, that felt somewhat like a small caravan or portacabin. The shower curtain was hung too high, such that the bathroom got wet from the water splashing beneath it. Also, there was no shelf on which to place my toiletries. I stayed on a warm day, and on arrival my room was too warm. However, the integral air... More

Alright, standard travel lodge really but the entrance is a bit like a prison. Hair on the sheets, no where to put our case, air con on freezing when we got in to our room. Had a bit of a drama with hairdryer, not enough to go around from reception and none in the room so TAKE YOUR OWN HAIRDRYER!... More
