Kind and friendly staff. Great ambience...not to busy but busy enough! The food is wonderful! (I recommend the pork!) and reasonable for what you get. Can't complain about any off it! We went as a family (6 of us) and all ordered starters and main courses which came out at good times. The starters arrived 15 min after being seated,... More

I called in on a Sunday lunch time to find that there were 2 piles of dog muck in the seating area The table I sat at was stuffed with cigarette ends between the wood. It was obvious they had been there for days if not weeks Cigarette ends also littered the outside entrance to the bar area I left... More

We stayed here with a group of 24 walkers for three days and had a marvellous time - we were so well looked after and the choice and presentation of food was superb. (Very very large portions though). Some lovely wines at reasonable prices and our room was fine - a bonus was lots of shelf space in the bathroom!!... More

We ate here twice during our stay in the area. They have a comprehensive a la carte menu and lots of daily specials. The menu makes good use of local produce and provides hearty well cooked meals. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are nice. You can eat in the restaurant which includes a sunny conservatory or the bar... More

My family which includes 6 adults 4 children and 2 dogs had three meals at the Wellington Inn during our stay locally in July 2014 We had Sunday lunch Wednesday evening dinner and Friday morning breakfast Can I say all were off a very high standard and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and bent over backwards... More

I have been staying here on and off for a long time and am always guaranteed a warm friendly welcome. The food is amazing and always freshly cooked served up by cheerful waiting staff. The rooms are comfortable with a plentiful supply of hot drinks and the breakfasts to look forward to.

The Wellington Inn was our base for what was otherwise an incredible Tour de France weekend. Apart from a yellow bike above the door, they couldn't have done any less to get into the spirit of a magical weekend for Yorkshire. There was no sense of welcome when we checked in, and having to walk through the bar past the... More

Hello, I am disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay here at the Wellington Inn. I feel our support for the le tour over the weekend was good as we held an all day barbeque with music outdoors and live coverage for the race on both Saturday and Sunday. The beds are being replaced later this year along with... More

We enjoyed our three-night stay at the Wellington Inn. We did not know what to expect as we approached it on country roads, but were pleasantly surprised to find a top-quality place when we arrived. The room was well-equipped, the ensuite spacious, and the location had a wonderful view over Nedderdale. We really enjoyed the food in the attractive dining... More

I booked the Wellington Inn for one night whilst participating in a charity cycle ride, the staff were really accommodating in providing some bike storage and arranging an earlier than usual breakfast for myself and a few other riders. The rooms were basic but clean; perfectly acceptable for a short stay. The shower was an electric power shower which worked... More
