This homely guest house provides everything you would expect and more. The owners are charming and nothing is too much trouble. Jo's breakfast is fab and the gluten free options put many of Harrogate's expensive tea rooms and swanky hotels to shame.

The previous review sounds nothing like the Belmont that my wife and I found during a recent two night stay to attend the Harrogate Spring Flower Show. The Room was dated and dirty. The only cleaning was a towel being put to dry on the radiator! The food was served before the initial course was finished and the Hotel owners are reluctant to put any heating on! Yes its close to the centre and thats about it.

Good central location with only a short walk to the town centre. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Delicious fresh fruit compote for breakfast along with great cooked selection. Very clean and comfortable room.
