The Pine Martin has long been known for being a nice place to eat in pleasant surroundings; we have frequented the resteraunt many times in recent years, however; on our latest visit it was disappointing to find a group of people around the bar area who we recognised to be known drug users and their overall character and behaviour was... more

We were on a short break and expecting a good hotel fron an Innkeepers Lodge special. Building looked great as we pulled up and reception and bar area lovely. However our room had the most noisy fann located directly outside the window and no view at all. We asked to change rooms but the (very pleasant manager) said they were... more

Getting breakfast and parking in the deal makes it a great incentive to stay at Innkeepers Lodge compared to its competitors. There is usually a pretty good place to eat downstairs too. The Pine Marten ticked all our boxes when we were planning a trip to the Dales and Harrogate. But we were pretty disappointed at the room we were... more

Yet another great sunday at the Pine Marten!! Sunday roast is fab. Food always very good..wether it's a lunch time snack or evening dinner. Brilliant in the summer with the outside seating area...a real sun trap. The pear cider is a must to try. We will be back soon!! more

We went to the Pine Martin for a family Christmas meal. The manager was not very friendly, the ambience was ok. But towards the end of the evening a fight broke out, where grown men attacked a very small lady. Wine bottles were thrown and I was genuinely concerned for me and my family's safety.NOT a family pub at all.... more

We stopped here for a weekend break & really liked the place, our room was nice & we enjoyed dinner on both nights. The thing that let it down was the poor breakfast, the food could have been better & they kept running out of things but not enough staff to replenish stock & when we tried to find a... more

A well decorated, recently refurbished pub type accommodation. Rooms were good, clean and well appointed. I was disappointed with the staff, generally a cool attitude which made you feel as though you were disturbing an otherwise quiet night for some of them. No real atmosphere, food OK but tables sticky and breakfast very very basic. Cheap white bread which when... more

We booked this hotel as a last minute getaway for my family. We were impressed as we pulled into the carpark, the building is beautiful and the decor inside is very tasteful and comfortable. Friendly staff welcomed us and our room was already made up with a sofa bed for the kids, which was comfortable. The room was spacious even... more

As usual, I needed a bed for the night whilst travelling between business meetings and seeing the positive reviews on this website, thought I'd give The Pine Marten a go. This pretty hotel was a welcome sight to this weary traveller, after a lengthy journey north which included substantial detours due to local flooding and further delays due to a... more
