We stayed as a couple at the Harrogate Travelodge last weekend and pretty much got what we paid for. The room was very reasonably priced, for a Saturday night in an excellent location, for all the attractions but 3 reasons was attributed to this: 1) There is no parking at this Travelodge, only an adjacent council parking with limited spaces;... I stayed here on a Thursday and a Friday night, telephoning in advance to ask to be located as remotely as possible from possibly noisy groups. This was initially met with incomprehension by the lady I spoke with, but when I pressed the matter she did admit the hotel had a policy on this, namely to place groups on the... More

Located in the heart of the town, easy parking in Pay & Display next door, easy to find. Good service, clean & comfortable bed/room. Our room was overlooking the front of the hotel and was a bit noisy but not bad enough to loose sleep, probably better at back of hotel. Good staff, will use the hotel again. Not all... More

Well done to Betty for being warm and welcoming on arrival, however the older lady on reception was quite a dragon. Twin room only had 1 double plus a foldout spring trestle - not at all suitable for adults. Location was ideal in centre of town but parking was limited and needed to be added to your total stay costs.... More

Stayed here last friday & I will be honest but I was not expecting much. From the moment i recieved the booking from work I instantly looked up the facilities. No bar, restaurant or car park. Great! On arrival I found a Pay and display right next to the hotel. £2.20 from 6pm - 8am, i wasnt too fussed as... More

Stayed for one night with my husband and daughter and had the family room. Very spacious , clean ,comfortable and bright ,we were on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel and did not find the noise a problem at all . Very good sleep and comfy beds maybe the bathroom could be updated but lovely warm shower... More

Perfectly situated, with a reasonably priced car park adjacent. Wetherspoons opposite our room which serves hearty bearfast from 7am. Lovely, helpful, smiling staff. Clean, high ceilinged room & bathroom, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Great view of town. Bit of late night noise at chuck-out time from the 2 near night clubs, but closing the windows eliminated that. Fab... More

Central location. Slap bang between an all night rock cafe on one side, Wetherspoons on the other, and over the entrance to a night club. Don't stay here if you expect to sleep. We do not expect the height of luxury from a clean, basic bargain hotel with comfortable beds, tv, etc. but I am sure everyone needs a quiet,... More

Typical Travelodge rooms, ours overlooked the rear of the building but there was no noise at all, splendid location in the centre of town and weatherspoons next to it proved a hit for breakfast.Best think is just being able to be in the centre of Harrogate as previously we had stayed just outside and taking the car into town is a...
