The Harrogate site can be noisy outside. In fairness they always warned of this on the web site. This time in our room new additional double glazed windows were installed, these were very effective, the only downside is all windows must be closed and this can make the room hotter than required even with the heating off.

We were given a first floor 'disabled' room (very easy access just up a flight of stairs/one floor lift ride) that overlooks the back of the hotel. Spacious room. Very clean. I think we were given that one as we had the dog with us. The receptionist said the room would be quieter than those at the front which overlook... More

This hotel is in an ideal location for visits to the popular Harrogate convention centre, which is a 3 mins walk away. The hotel can be reached by foot from the station with a short stroll through central Harrogate. As hotels go, this one clearly caters for a business clientele; meaning you can get an iron but no breakfast, unless... More

This was my first, but not last time to make use of Travel Lodge. Got into town late, was greeted with a smile by receptionist and everything was explain where, when & what. Was also asked if anything else was required. Thank for a great stay. :)

Stayed in Harrogate despite a few reviews pointing out the noise from bars/clubs outside the hotel. Location was absolutely perfect within a few minutes of all the main sites. Manager/Receptionist was marvellous!

Stayed last night, lovely helpful staff. Large comfortable room. After reading previous reviews, we expected the external noise from surrounding bars. What was more unacceptable was the fellow inconsiderate guests making a racket banging doors and screaming during the night and again this morning. I'd suggest earplugs if you intend staying - just in case

Disabled room not on ground floor is fire escape problem. There is an EVAC but it needs three people to operate it. Accessible room is mostly OK except that Wheel-chair access impossible to left side of bed. Hotel entrance is on fairly steep hill with no parking outside, and no level access from car park, making this one of the... More

Good central location, car park next door good rate for overnight parking. Clean and efficient. Stayed on a Thursday, night club next door did awake us as had to sleep with windows open. Didn't bother with breakfast as Weatherspoons is located next door, don't be put off being Weatherspoons as it is a fantastic building. £43 double room, good value.... More

This travelodge in right in the middle of the town center which is great, but it is right next to a bar and club which is very very noisy, you have to pay for the car park which works out to be about 15 to 20 pounds. the rooms are okay the TV is a small portable, the bed is... More
