I was in Harrogate for four nights with work and the travelodge suited my needs. Its location is the best selling point, right in the middle of town near the wetherspoons (good for breakfast), easy walk from station and near pubs, restaurants, shops and a tesco express. The room was a good size, we were on the top floor so... More

It's a Travelodge, so it's very basic but the staff are friendly and helpful. The car park next door requires change and the hotel is very keen to stress that they do not have change to give! I had a mess around with my wi-fi access, not being sent a code, which required a phone call to the service provider... More

Booked to stay here for 2 nights (that's TWO nights!) in July 2012 as part of a Girls weekend. When we arrived on the Friday evening check-in was quick and easy and we were directed to our rooms. Rooms clean and a nice size. The following day on the Saturday myself and the rest of the girls were on our... More

We stayed here over a weekend whilst at a conference. It is a basic travelodge at a basic price. We paid around £35 for the Friday night but it shot up to £75 for the Saturday. Room 211 was very light and a good size. It is at the western end of the hotel, a corner room with windows west... More

I stayed in this hotel whilst away for work. It was very basic but I guess you get what you pay for. The bathroom wasn't hygenic and it wasnt all that spacious for 2 people sharing a family room. There was a nice view from our room but the geese were a bit rowdy at night.

they have designed 99% of Harrowgate to be quiet tea room territory and all of the loud young drinking action to take place around this travelodge. There are 3 major drinking establishments surrounding the hotel and a 4th on the ground floor of the hotel itself. We were only there from Monday to Friday (daytime) so we missed the weekend... More

The travelodge was quite new, we had a large room overlooking the carpark on the third floor. Great views over the town. The only problem was that when Wetherspoons closed at night this brought a lot of activity into the car park and quite a bit of noise. There was also another bar backing onto the car park that seemed... More

Typical Travelodge, nothing out of the ordinary but a few points potential residents might like to consider. The reception is not always staffed especially between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon as the receptionist is on household duties. I suppose it's one way of cutting down on overheads and that's why they can offer rooms at £19 per night.... More

The hotel is in a good location in the centre of town and cheap compared to other Harrogate hotels, the rooms are every thing you expect from Travelodge, basic and clean, there is a car park next to the hotel but you have to pay for it. I would not recommend this hotel for family's or anyone wanting a goods... More

This hotel is centrally located however due to the location the bars below spill out in the middle of the night therfore not easy to sleep- would not return. There is no car parking - we found a multi storey about 10 minutes walk away. The location is so central- only good thing
