I stayed here with a bunch of friends last weekend and despite not being a total disaster it was pretty shambolic. Firstly, yes you have bars pretty much all around it and we stayed on a Thursday and Friday night (overlooking Wetherspoons and Revolution) and they were noisy until about 2am. Thursday evening was particularly warm and with no air... more

My husband stayed in the Travelodge in Harrogate for 1 night with a few friends in the middle of May, realising it was very central for the many nice bars in the area and that with Travelodge you get what you pay for. Having stayed in many other Travelodges - York, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle he knew what to expect. Wrong!... more

Let me start by addressing the noise issue. Yes if you are staying at the weekend and are wanting an early night, then you will definately experience some noise problems. The hotel is next door to a bar/nightclub which when we were there played music til about 12.30pm. There are other clubs and bars nearby as the hotel is in... more

I stayed here for a conference and was sharing a room with a colleage. The sofa bed is a very basic sofa that does not pull out at all. Not comfortable at all if you are used to sleeping in a double bed. Also, I got a really bad rash on my skin during the time I stayed at this... more

Very Noisy from the outside nightclubs untill 0230, but we did stay on Saturday night. Rooms not very attratcive and dusty. Big burn hole in bed pull out bed. Carpet at foot of stairs detached and dangerous. Staff very pleasant though. Disappointing for a Travelodge. Will probably give this one a miss in future. more

this travelodge has been the best we have stayed at, had a huge room with a pleasent view of the city from full length windows. it also had a car park right outside which was great and reasonably priced. has a big wetherspoons and revolution bar right next door aswell as a luxe bar downstairs. we would have stayed longer... more

We booked this hotel due to it's central location and although the website does state that there could be external noise from surrounding bars, this by no means prepares you for no sleep at all possible. We stayed on a Monday night and requested quiet rooms which we were assured we had been allocated. The room was spacious and on... more

We have just returned from this Travelodge, and were a little apprehensive reading the reviews, but we really enjoyed this Hotel - reading the other reviews, depending on when you stay you will either you will love it or hate it. Firstly, you could not ask to be more central, right in the center of Harrogate, about a 2 minute... more

We stayed at the travel lodge this weekend, having read the reviews we were a little concerned but were plesantly surprised, The rooms are clean and spacious, we stayed on the forth floor so managed to cut out most of the noise from the bars downstairs. This travel lodge is very well placed for the town centre. the staff were... more

The Hotel is well situated for visiting the town ,near to the bars and attractions of Harrogate town centre. When we visited there was no problem with external noise, but if there were then that's a consequence of the Hotels excellent location. Although well situated I will not be using this hotel again, or any other in the Traval lodge... more
