What a shame lovely hotel, lovely staff but why leave a radiator on full so that when they walk in the room you can't breathe. The fan was a give away that the room was going to be hot. We had to open the window and leave the fan on full and leave the room as soon as we could.... More

This was our first stay in this hotel and we really enjoyed our time. Upon arrival through the door you enter the lounge and bar area which is a little daunting when arriving with your luggage. We stayed in the front facing loft suite, the room itself was brilliant - a huge bed, TV and seating area along with twin... More

The hotel is in a great location near to the town centre, without being noisy - just what was needed for a short break. We had a superior room, which was very spacious, and I was very impressed with the standard, comfort and quality of the facilities. There was a variety of glasses to drink from; a well stocked mini... More

this was my second visit, to this hotel and it didn't disappoint , a friend and I wanted a relaxed couple of days with Christmas shopping thrown in! The room was spacious, (superior room) had a great coffee maker (I just can not function in the morning without good coffee) The bar whilst not inexpensive is friendly, the bar man... More

Business trip here combined with leisure. Superior room had everything you might need . Decor was a little jaded. Annoying that desk also hosted coffee maker, kettle if you used it and snack display leaving little room for work. Disapointing meal on first night meant we chose not to eat there on second night and tried Jamie Olivers new restaurant... More

We had stayed at The Hotel du Vin in Birmingham and had had dinner there too which was excellent so decided to try Harrogate. As we live close by we only had dinner here. I cannot criticise the food as there was nothing wrong with it and it was well cooked but the menu was somewhat unimaginative and there was... More

As people have stated the hotel is in the perfect location for Harrogate. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful - the price of £235.00 room only is acceptable if your getting luxury. Wifi didn't work at all for my 24 HR stay. The shower had no hot water. The corridors and guest doors (I don't think have door... More

Lovely hotel, great location, good bar and great breakfast as long as you're not in a hurry. Lets face it on Saturday or Sunday who is in a hurry. Why people complain about the slowness at breakfast is a mystery to me. Its not how quick they deliver it its how late they serve it that really counts. Onto the... More

My friend brought me here for my birthday and we had a lovely time, we ate in the restaurant on the evening and it was excellent. The only problem was a treatment had been booked in the spa and the spa employees couldn't and didn't accommodate us when they had to make changes for a staff absence. This was disappointing... More

Beautiful, grand Georgian building in the heart of Harrogate. Room was very nice, perhaps not as plush as the rest of the hotel, but the bed was incredibly comfortable and bedding immaculate. Wonderful shower but bathroom was slightly let down by small signs of wear and tear. Very clean though with lovely toiletries provided. Breakfast was fabulous and probably the... More
