This hotel is well placed to walk into Harrogate, just be aware of hills in all directions. The breakfast is fresh and good quality and was cooked to our liking no matter what we ordered from the menu. Fresh squeezed orange juice other fresh fruit were also available every morning. The room (number 10) was spacious, clean and well presented.... More

We chose The Grafton for our two night stay in Harrogate based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor... it was a good choice the hotel is well placed in a relatively quiet street requiring a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of town. The staff we found friendly and courteous, we even had our case carried to our room on... More

On booking the Hotel we asked if the room could be ready earlier than advertised, the man on the phone taking bookings said he would try his best. On arrival the Young lady at reception was polite and curtious and our room was ready for us. We were checked in promptly and shown to our room. The room was very well... More

Stayed 1 night in this excellent B & B. Lovely superior double room with huge comfy bed and large en-suite. Overlooking garden at front. Arrived before check-in but lady on reception was accommodating and friendly giving us key and parking permit for road outside front of hotel. Short walk into city centre only about 5/10 minutes. Excellent breakfast with good... More

A really nice B&B/small hotel, the room was just as described, very clean and airy, lovely large windows. Great location for walking into the centre. We agree with some previous reviews, our reception on arrival was polite but not very welcoming at all and this put us off having a drink in the lounge to be honest - we went... More

On arrival Lady at reception not very welcoming but polite. Just spent two nights at the Grafton B&B. Booked a Large Superior room & that is exactly what I got, lots of space clean, well decorated & furnished superbly with a large seating area. Large bed very comfortable. Bathroom spotless & even though I had booked as single occupancy there... More

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely b&b & cannot tell of any fault. It was beautifully clean & modern. Our twin room was quiet, large & well equipped, our beds were extremely comfortable & the bathroom spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fabulous - the homemade luxury muesli was my favourite. Very helpful owner & staff. I am more than happy... More

My wife and I stopped off at this hotel for one night without a reservation and were made to feel like tramps by the check in staff. Instead of simply asking for a credit card pre-payment, the guy behind the desk looked us up and down and said that "people who come in off the street tend to do a... More

For guests who show up at the hotel without a reservation, it is our hotel policy to charge the full amount on check in. This guest was not happy to do this and made the situation very difficult for our check in staff. We welcome all passing customers without reservations, and will always try to make them feel at home.... More

I booked the smallest single room in the Hotel, so I was not surprised that it was indeed somewhat compact. The ensuite however was more akin to those found in a mobile home - a tight squeeze. having said that the room was quiet, I slept well and the breakfast was excellent, it is in an excellent location and parking... Just returned from the Grafton after spending two nights relaxing in Harrogate. Fabulous B&B, great room, enormous bed( the best sleep i had in ages), very clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal, it's only a five minute walk to the town and we really enjoyed exploring Harrogate with lots of lovely independant shops and... More
