Travelling back to home from Wensleydale decided on a couple of days in Harrogate. The Grafton. Perfect location as 5 mins walk to the town centre. The room was comfortable with quality bedding. The breakfast was really good. All the usual choices but the full English appeared freshly cooked. No hotel warm bins here. From what I experienced? an enjoyable... More

Stayed for 2 nights for a friends wedding in Harrogate. Location was ideal, parking spaces easy to find . The Grafton stood out in it's appearance from it's surroundings. Very well maintained and beautifully decorated. Room was clean, comfortable and peaceful, plenty of storage space. A short 5 min walk into the heart of town and local bars and restaurants.... More

We stayed at The Grafton for three night during the Grand Depart of the Yourkshire Tour de France. Perfect location with a rather short walk from the train station. Nice surrounding with beautyful houses and gardens. The Grafton itself is nice and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very nice, not very large but large enough for us. The bathroom is... More

Just stayed at The Grafton for three nights over the time of madness that is the Tour de France! Great small hotel, not the largest room in the world, but not the smallest we have had either. Comfortable, clean, well appointed room, great breakfast, pleasant staff. What's not to like?

This place looked special from the photos I saw and it didn't fail to impress. I stayed 3 nights for a conference and it was just a 10 minute walk from Harrogate station. It certainly is boutique and the decor and overall attention to detail of The Grafton is superb. My room #1 was spacious with good size ensuite. Lovely... More

Chose this hotel for an anniversary get away - perfect. Fantastic, quiet location close to Harrogate, the owners were very hospitable, absolutely no faults with the room and the breakfast was lovely. We'll definitely be returning.

Great location, very close into Harrogate centre on a quiet leafy road. We were in a superior room which was very sizeable and with a well padded comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries and all presented very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I think it was the owner who even carried my exceptionally heavy suitcase into my room.... More

Beautifully decorated and very clean and good location and comfy beds , however as advertised as a 5 star b & b i do have a few minor issues, there is loud noise from the doors shutting which appears to be from the bedrooms as well maybe the fire doors and this is disruptive - also although they give complimentary... Stayed here in early May for a long weekend. Everything you read about the owners' eye for detail is absolutely spot on. Originally two sizeable victorian residences it is clear that a great deal of thought and cash has been invested in the conversion to one large guest house. Location is great - very central, a short walk from the... More

Booked two rooms last minute for a one night stay in Harrogate. The Grafton is on a nice, quiet, leafy street and an easy walk into town so an excellent location and we were able to park on the street right outside. Both rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully presented. Bed linens good quality and though the bed was smaller... More
