Very clean, good facilities. Excellent choice for breakfast and prompt service. Tony and his staff were very welcoming and helpful with their knowledge of the local area. Overall as a solo traveller I found the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing.

My husband and I stayed at the Shannon for six nights while visiting the International Gilbert & Sullivan setival only a short walk away at the Royal Hall. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the town and lots of little unique shops to browse through. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Tony... More

We were staying here for 2 nights for a business conference. We were welcomed by the lovely Tony, lovely friendly man. We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. There is parking available. It's about 10 min walk into the town centre. My husband and i would definatley visit Shannon Court again. Thank you Tony!

My wife and I stayed for the weekend due to the National Conference which we were attending. Shannon Court is a very clean hotel and only a short walk into Harrogate town centre. Tony the owner is very friendly and would stand and chat with every guest. Breakfast taste's really good and is served within a reasonable time from ordering.... More

We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast but wasn't keen on the herby sausages. Near to town centre but still quiet. Would recommend the blues bar but go early to make sure you get a seat.

We had two nights here to attend a suprise party, the room was nice and very clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a walk into Harrogate on Friday afternoon and it is only about 10 minutes away. We paid the extra for breakfast which was good. I can recommend this guest house. Paul

We have stayed at Shannon Court several times over the years and so have gone through a few changes of management. All have been good. But the current owner, Tony, wins the prize. He is remarkably affable and accommodating. He knows how to solve dilemmas big and small. And he takes the time to interact with each guest, even when... More

After seeing such incredible reviews we were disappointed with the B&B. Did not represent the price paid overall. The good points - very friendly welcome, decent breakfast, good shower and good parking. The downsides are the location - not as central as expected; the sink is very small and the cleanliness was not particularly good in the room - bathroom... More

Benny I'm sorry that Shannon Court didn't live up to your expectations. I've never been anything other than honest about the location of Shannon Court. We are 10 minutes walk from the attractions of Harrogate town centre. Any closer and parking would be an issue, as those familiar with Harrogate will be aware. Most people seem to think our location... More

Myself and friends stayed here during the Tour de France and we thoroughly enjoyed the owner Tony's warm welcome, advice and the fab breakfasts! The guesthouse is a short walk out of the busy centre of Harrogate and located near to some lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. We all enjoyed our rooms which were very clean and had all of... More

Ideal location for the centre of Harrogate. Warm & friendly welcome. Very clean & well presented guesthouse, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was excellent, not just the usual choice of bacon & egg, all cooked & presented beautifully. Well worth the cost. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for close location to the centre of Harrogate,... More
