This establishment is so warm and welcoming . A family run pub with 7 rooms. The first time we have stayed here but oh so nice. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are really good . It makes Some 4 star hotels look shabby! Breakfast cooked by Louise was a delight. Beautifully prepared and a full platter. Would recommend the Queens... More

Some friends brought us here for our first dinner in England and it was great. Really nice group of employees, they let me have a small take of all the local beers before I bought a round. Dinner was great with quick service. If we ever find ourselves in that area we will probably stop in again. $$

Came out looking for sunday lunch and found this cosy little pub on outskirts of Harrogate. We managed to get the last table going and enjoyed a 3 course sunday lunch for £13.95 each. The soup was very tastey. Brie and cranberry parcel was ok but would have been better in filo pastry than breadcrumbed. The roast beef was cooked... More

My wife and i have just enjoyed a one night stay at the Queens Head. After reading the reviews we expected it to be a good choice and happily it exceeded all our expectations. We arrived at lunchtime and were welcomed by Chris, who works behind the bar and Louise , the landlady, who showed us to our room. The... More

Called in today on a return visit for Sunday lunch. Once again we were not disappointed . The lunch menu is shall but concise and extremely good value. Roast beef and yorkshire puddings were excellent and the steak and ale pie has got to be the best in the area.

Being an American who has never been to the UK, I was a bit nervous about staying in a “Country Inn & Pub” in the middle of sheep farms. As a trained observer, however, I am able to watch first, and then make my decision. When I arrived, I learned that the owners were away for a vacation -- a... More

We were looking for a one night stop off en route from North East down to Midlands and chose this place based on good reviews on here and the fact it was a lot less expensive that staying in Harrogate. We were pleased with our choice - it is someway out of town, but that added to the attraction, as... More

My wife and I needed two nights accommodation near Harrogate. We picked the Queens Head because of the reviews. Kettlesing is a truly quaint village full of lovely stone buildings. When we arrived at the Queens Head we were made very welcome and shown our comfortable room. We had a pub meal, a few drinks, a chat with the friendly... More
