We had a lovely weekend at this welcoming Guest House. The accommodation was first class and plenty of choice for breakfast. It was made special by the unexpected bottle of bubbly placed in our room on our anniversary . We would recommend The Dales to anyone looking for a break in Harrogate, this is one of our favourite places to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in February 2014 and thought it was lovely. The personal touches in the room such as cookies and chocolates was really nice and breakfast was great. Found the hosts to be extremely friendly. The location is great for a walk into the town centre and we would definitely stay here again.

Myself and my wife have just spent a wonderful weekend staying at The Dales. The room that we were in (room 3) was spotless and bigger than some bedsits we have lived in and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of dishes and the location of the guest house is... More

Had a two night stay for my birthday. Had no complaints about any part of our stay and would stay there again. Our bed was huge and much too soft for us but that's not a fault just a personal preference! We had no problem parking. Breakfast was great. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. All in all a positive... More

I would fully recommend this guest house as we had a lovely valentines weekend here. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us into her home. The main town was a five minute walk down the hill with plenty of pubs and restaurants and of course Betty's tea rooms. We stayed in room 7 which was a large en-suite room... More

Stayed in February for one night. It was very welcoming, friendly and great location. Booked through bookings.com and found a room for £60. Breakfast was fab. Service was excellent. Bedroom 1 slightly dated but bathroom really nice. Would stay again.

We came across this superb, little guest house on Laterooms when looking for a last minute overnight stay in Harrogate. We were seriously impressed with the set up - lovely, large en suite rooms, spacious guest lounge with TV and books (which we imagine would be great if you were travelling with another couple), well stocked honesty bar. The area... More

I arrived early but was greeted warmly and shown to my room - very clean and comfy, WIFI, TV, ensuite, tea and coffee, hairdryer etc. I was given a parking pass which is very handy as the traffic wardens are extremely vigilant in Harrogate! the room was warm and cosy, bed very comfy and I slept well. I treated myself... More

Stayed two nights , room was comfortable with all we needed for a pleasant stay. The whole house was spotlessly clean, breakfast was excellent. Parking not a problem with a permit provided by the very pleasant owner. Short walk to the town for pubs / restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

A friendly guesthouse overlooking Valley Gardens. Rooms are clean and equipped with all the essentials you need for a stay. The bed was way to soft for my liking though. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is available outside with the display of a parking permit that are given out by the guesthouse. From the guesthouse it is an easy walk down... More
