This place was lovely, greeted by the owner on arrival and briefed on the finer details of the stay. It's located in a lovely tree lined road which leads straight to the town which is just a few minutes away. Clean tidy very well run and all topped off with a nice breakfast. The rooms were of a decent size... More

Lovely B&B with warm, friendly owners. We had the twin room at the top of the stairs, with private bathroom which was enormous, and comfortably carpeted, which is so nice underfoot. Beds good.with loads of pillows - a desk which is so often lacking in many B&B's, but much needed for our laptop, and the complimentary bowl of fruit in... More

We had a lovely weekend at this welcoming Guest House. The accommodation was first class and plenty of choice for breakfast. It was made special by the unexpected bottle of bubbly placed in our room on our anniversary . We would recommend The Dales to anyone looking for a break in Harrogate, this is one of our favourite places to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in February 2014 and thought it was lovely. The personal touches in the room such as cookies and chocolates was really nice and breakfast was great. Found the hosts to be extremely friendly. The location is great for a walk into the town centre and we would definitely stay here again.

Myself and my wife have just spent a wonderful weekend staying at The Dales. The room that we were in (room 3) was spotless and bigger than some bedsits we have lived in and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of dishes and the location of the guest house is... More

Had a two night stay for my birthday. Had no complaints about any part of our stay and would stay there again. Our bed was huge and much too soft for us but that's not a fault just a personal preference! We had no problem parking. Breakfast was great. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. All in all a positive... More

I would fully recommend this guest house as we had a lovely valentines weekend here. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us into her home. The main town was a five minute walk down the hill with plenty of pubs and restaurants and of course Betty's tea rooms. We stayed in room 7 which was a large en-suite room... More

Stayed in February for one night. It was very welcoming, friendly and great location. Booked through bookings.com and found a room for £60. Breakfast was fab. Service was excellent. Bedroom 1 slightly dated but bathroom really nice. Would stay again.
