Cedar Court is a fine old building just a short walk from the centre of Harrogate. We had a lovely welcome from staff on reception. Our room was a slightly odd shape but everything in it was fine and what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The evening meal was ok but the breakfasts were lovely-great choice from... More

We have just been to the restaurant at Cedar Court to do our menu tasting for our wedding in October and what a lovely experience! Apparently the chef wasn't happy with one of the dishes we had requested (his prepared dish, not that he didn't like our choice) so we were offered an alternative to try and the opportunity to... The hotel is well located, just a short walk into town. The service at reception was professional and I was told if I wasn't happy with anything I should let him know. This was my first visit to a Best Western and I must say it will be my last. I stayed in an executive room which was rather small... More

It isn't difficult to find places to stay in this great Yorkshire town but we think this is one of the best. We stayed in a refurbished room, every mod con provided, including chocolate raisins. Staff pleasant and helpful. Great meal on our first night. A lovely chunk of salmon for me, well cooked.

The hotel is situated in a very nice area-close to centre of Harrogate and within easy access to many other interesting places to visit. Altogether, it did not reach the standard of many other Best Western hotels we have stayed in. Our room (411) had a very noisy radiator and on the 2nd night, we had little sleep because it... More

Booked this very much last minute (4-5hrs before arrival) as a stop off on the way back from a week abroad. We've usually had good experiences with Best Western (independent but with some franchise based QA) so as this had the essentials (gym and family rooms) it was first choice in the area, despite mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. The... More

Just returned from an overnight stay at the Cedar Court Hotel. Arrived early at 11.30am and asked at reception if we could leave the car and walk into Harrogate. Reception Staff (Lucy I think) said it was not a problem but checked our details and said our room was already ready if we would like to check in there and... More

First impression was very good. A bit of a wait to check in; then to the room (suite). We all noticed the aroma of a stable. Had the room been recently decorated was it the paint ? was it the newish carpet or some item of furniture ? We don't know but it was very noticeable and our autistic grand... More

My son used the Cedar Court for his wedding venue on Easter Sunday 05th April 2015. I must say that Scott Burton (Deputy Manager (I think)) who took care of all the details on the day was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and he never seemed flustered even when he was bombarded by several people at once. Scott recognised... More

This hotel was recommended to us by some friends, and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure staying there. The room was lovely, although a set of drawers would have been useful. The town is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, not too far to get something to eat if you didn't want to stay at... More
