“A grand hotel in a grand town”

The hotel is well situated at the end of the grassy Stray. It has a broad frontage with parking. Both the bus and railway stations are within 10 minutes walk. “Slightly faded grandeur”

It's an interesting question to ask yourself. Just why am I not going to give this place five stars? And it was just the little things that did it. “all round beautiful hotel”

The crown is a beautiful hotel in the perfect location. It is lovely throughout the hotel and is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The b/fast was amazing too, all buffet style with everything you could want and set in a grand b/fast room. Cant wait to go back

“Great location but creaky hotel”

The location is great but the hotel needs a lot of money spent on it. I was only there for business so wasn't too bothered about the rooms being dated and very creaky but I wouldn't have been happy if I was staying for a weekend break etc.

“Great stay”

Booked this hotel through late rooms and got a absolute bargain Enjoyed a excellent stay in a very comfortable room with excellent service Choice of menus in 2 different restaurants The buffet style breakfast is a must and keeps you going all day Will definitely return Only issue is car parking limited space available on front of hotel
