Have just spent the weekend with my husband at the Holiday Inn in Harrogate. We really enjoyed it. The room was very comfortable and with a great location. Breakfast was very good, if a little noisy - great selection of food at a very reasonable price! (Need to remember to pay for it via the Reception - cheaper than paying... More

The room was clean and of a better standard than we had expected. On the first evening after returning from a night out in Harrogate, we asked if we could stay for a further night than we had requested originally. The gentleman behind the desk was affable and was able to book the additional night without us having to change... More

Great hotel, well situated to discover Harrogate, the bedroom could do with a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was wonderful, set you up for the day, lovely bar area to relax in the evenings and the food served in the bar was excellent. Staff all very friendly. The only issues I have are with the lifts only 3 not the... More

I would like to express my thanks to the excellent staff in the holiday inn hotel in Harrogate , I was staying there last weekend and had reason to request a visit from the doctor. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind especially John at reception who was excellent......he even rang my room after the doctor had... More

I have just checked out of a 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn in Harrogate and I was extremely disappointed from the minute I checked in. I have stayed in a holiday inn hotel previously and even wrote a letter of compliment as I was so impressed, unfortunately the same can not be said for this. The guy on... More

We decided at the last minute to visit Harrogate. We had already stayed at the Holiday Inn on a previous visit, so decided to see what was on offer. The prices for the room were reduced by half so we booked. On arrival we were early for checking in, but the young girl on the desk said it would be ok... More

Basic but very clean and comfortable with enough room to move and have a good night's sleep. The breakfast was enjoying and staff were helpful enough. Happy to find the wifi worked better than in other UK hotels I have stayed at although it was still on the slow side The shower was ok but not much variation in the... More

We arrived at the hotel mid -afternoon. This break was actually part of a tour we were on visiting the surrounding area but based at the Holiday Inn. We booked in and got the key to our room. The room was a twin and reasonably spacious. One or two things were lacking i.e. no safe, no 'fridge and no biscuits... More

Pleasant enough room but shower was awful... Dripped and temperature changed constantly. Bar area impersonal and lacking in charm. £5 per hour for Internet use seems outrageous... Most hotels offer free wifi these days

After the move of the annual Gilbert and Sullivan festival from Buxton to Harrogate we faced the question where to stay. We chose the holiday Inn and were not disappointed. This is a modern hotel in a 11 story tower block so one gets all the facilities one expects from a quality hotel - lifts that work, quiet corridors and... More
