This is an old house modernised and extended into a medium size hotel. Rooms are comfortable and there is private parking on the grounds. The restaurant is small but adequate and the food satisfactory. It was a bit cold in the room as there was no heating on. Although totally fine as a hotel it is essentially just to sleep... More

Top location for city centre - just a 7 minute stroll into town. Hotel is very nice, comfortable (cosy double) room, bed a little on the soft side for me. Immaculate bathroom with nice toiletries. Friendly staff, and a well cooked tasty breakfast, with a good selection of fruit/cereals. Would recommend this to friends - good if you were going... More

Stayed here with family for 2 nights whilst visiting Harrogate and was very impressed with the hotel. It is only a short 10 minute walk from the centre and is a charming hotel with a good history. The rooms are a great size and very comfortable. We opted to have dinner at the hotel on one night which was very... More

Spent two nights here with my wife and 14 month old. A well placed hotel for Harrogate centre, just a five minute walk away, with a restaurant that serves good food at ok prices. Top breakfast too. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, and made our little girl feel special too. Our room was good, if a little cramped... More

Enjoyed the stay and rooms were good and comfortable - restaurant serviced excellent food, the breakfast was exceptional - but service a bit quick. For the price this is very very good value and very much recommended.

I stayed here with my partner and 2 children (aged 5 and 7) in August 2014. We had an attic room, which was spotless, nicely decorated and fitted with everything we needed. It was quiet considering the hotel is on a main road, and we were undisturbed by other guests. The beds were super comfy (the best I've ever experienced... More

Lovely rooms.Plantation shutters as well as curtains for total blackout. Excellent bed linen. Great breakfast both continental and cooked to order. Very close walk to conference centre end of town and less than 10 minutes to baths... More

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. The hotel was supremely clean and well presented. The staff were also very friendly. The breakfast was of a high standard and the staff were very attentive and provided whatever you required. In terms of the room it was also very clean and well furnished. I had a single room and... A pleasure to stay at this hotel. Basic room was spacious enough, though we may look for one with a view upon our return. Staff were first class all round, everyone was friendly, polite and looking to make sure we had a relaxing stay. Food in the breakfast was well cooked and good quality, evening meal was lovely and does... More

Best Harrogate stay in ten years (15 trips in total). Close to the exhibition halls, lovely room (number 7), comfortable bed, super clean bathroom, delicious breakfast (including black pudding), friendly staff, good price, great wifi, free car park, large bar area with drinks at good prices. This us more great quality guest house than a hotel but it is awesome.... More
