I have to say I was really disappointed by the hotel....what the website shows you doesn't relate at all to what the place is like......rooms are small, not clean with lots of stains everywhere (curtains, bed spread, shower curtain to mention some) and the bathroom had cracked tiles. Hotel Majestic Harrogate is a wonderful place to stay. Situated in the centre of Harrogate it is close to all amenities including the International Conference Centre. For the money the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It maybe big, but it is ugly ugly ugly. Nothing has been decorated since 1982 at least. My tea making facility in the room included a carton of milk 3 months out of date - disgusting. Staff attitudes are mostly surly. You have to pay for parking by the hour... more
