Our family of 11 stayed with Sue at Shelbourne House for 3 nights for our Mums Funeral earlier this month. Sue is a first class host making us feel very welcome at an extremely emotional and stressful time. We had the house to ourselves so could spend much needed time together, peace when we needed it and a great breakfast to see us off in the mornings. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds sooo comfy and the showers hot and powerful. Sue, although invited to join us at times, gave us space and the freedom to come and go as we liked. This is probably the 7th or 8th time we have stayed with Sue for celebrations and weekends away and really wouldn't consider anywhere else! Thanks Sue for another fabulous stay!

We had a lovely three night stay here. The hotel is centrally located, Sue the owner is so friendly and provides everything you need including parking permits (we were always able to park nearby) and a lovely breakfast. All main attractions are in easy walking distance. Our room was very comfortable with a large king sized bed, comfy arm chairs and great shower. A super stay - highly recommended.

I could not fault the accommodation or the host. Everything was excellent and we had a great time. Sue was brilliant. Bed was very comfy and the breakfast was terrific. Only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. We will definitely be back

I normally don't write reviews, however after the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've experienced in long time I can only rate Shelbourne House & Sue on that experience. There was a mishap with reservation, Sue contacted me & within 30 min she found comparably priced accommodation in the same area. I can only thank Sue for her prompt and professional service as it saved alot of time searching for a new location etc. THANK YOU!!

I’m usually wary of all glowing reviews, but Shellbourne House deserves every one it has received. A beautiful house, tastefully decorated and equipped, immaculately clean and tidy, welcoming warm, spacious and cozy. We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our two night stay. Sue was lovely. Just the right blend of attentive, kind and friendly host and not at all intrusive. Our room had a fabulous shower, bed and linen, breakfast was off the scale good. We cannot fault this place for location, accommodation and homeliness. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Sue for a lovely stay.

I am so glad I booked Shelbourne House and couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay. My room was a single - Sue explained that it was a small room but it was absolutely fine and had every I needed. The whole house is beautifully kept with great attention to detail. Breakfast is superb with an excellent choice all prepared to order. Sue is the best host - welcoming, helpful and friendly. My next stay in Harrogate will be at Shelbourne House.
