Asked for a back room, thank goodness! Apparently a dispute broke out late at night downstairs in the bar/restaurant and a lot of noise was created. Room Ok and evening food and breakfast fine - Jazz in the restaurant on Fridays. parking at rear. 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. more

Stayed for 3 nights on business and was extremely impressed. The entire hotel has a great ambience, that extends beyond the public areas - so many places have swish reception, bars and restaurants and very unimpressive guest rooms, not so here. I was in room 17 which is up in the gods, had to take a breather half way up... more

This is the second time we have stayed at the Harrogate Brasserie and it did not disapoint us. the rooms are very quirky and this makes a change from the norm. The food is excellent and there is a good choice, it is cooked to perfection and can be enjoyed in a good atmosphere with the jazz music playing in... more

Loved the brasserie. Stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. Had intended only eating in the Brasserie on the Sunday evening when they had music but thought the food and the menu was so good we ate there on our second night too and was equally as good. Sharon who seems to be working all the time from... more

We went to Harrogate and had booked to stay at another hotel. We found the Brasserie on our first night and swapped hotels the next day, not something we have ever done! The food was wonderful and the breakfast superb. The hotel is quirky and fun. It is small but that is an advantage as it has great personal service... more

We stayed here for three nights over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Our room was airy and spacious, with a good shower and comfy beds. On a sunny day, the outside benches were very pleasant. The food in the brasserie was excellent - you must book on a jazz night or you will be disappointed - and the breakfasts were... more

The Brasserie is a lovely, quirky hotel in the centre of Harrogate, in a great location. The rooms are fabulous and very big. I went with a large group and the staff could not have done enough for us to accomodate what we needed and it was very good value for money. The breakfast was great and the Jazz nights... more

We've just recently returned from a 1 night stay at the brasserie and quite glad we only booked for the one night! The room (5) is a good size but very tired and in need of some tlc. The bed was very soft and in need of replacing. The biggest issue was the noise from the bar/restaurant downstairs and the... more

Not sure how the other reviewers came to their ratings. Our short stay was a let down after reading other reviews. The central location was excellent, but that's as far as it went. Our room was grotty; dark & dingy decor and it needed a few repairs and a damn good clean - take your own lightbulbs! (Perhaps this is... more

We've stayed in Harrogate many times (for the exhibition centre), and this has become our favourite hotel. In fact, we've booked for next year. Centrally located, great food in the Brasserie, our room was a good size & well furnished. Breakfast is really good (best quality ingredients). Great atmosphere. Excellent value. more
