Expecting this hotel to be very mediocre we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the furnishings. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Considering that this is a town centre hotel it was amazingly quiet as it is set well back from the main road. Would definitely reccommend. more

Without doubt in the bottom 3 hotels we have stayed in, and the worst value for money. We booked through Shearings, for a 2 night stay. The photograph on the website is extremely misleading as it seems to show the hotel in it's own ground, when it is fact located on the street, with limited parking facilities at the rear... more

Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights between christmas and new year. Hotel under going some much needed work, but was happy with the room, we had a family room 1 double bed and a bunk bed for the kids. room was clean. front reception staff was nice and friendly.
