Stayed with my boyfriend in a studio apartment on Kings Road for 3 nights at the beginning of January. Great value for money considering what a gorgeous, modern place it was. Really smart decor, very spacious with lovely bathroom. Bed was very soft and we found the apartment very warm (heating is controlled by reception, but the staff were more... More

Had a great 2 night stay at the apartments with all the items you may need available in the apartments, it's a home away from home. Staff are on hand do deal with any questions and location is great within the centre, however only one thing that car parking is about a 10min walk away. Apartments are decorated very nicely... I have read some mixed reviews on here and if the one about being charged £100 for phoning the out of hours team is true, it's a disgrace and they should be refunded I can only comment on my experience. I booked Kings Road for the central location only to find I had been bumped to some place called Duchy... More

Visiting York, left it to late to find accommodation, so booked the Lawrance in Harrogate. On booking was informed of e mail to be read 24 hours prior to visit, to confirm arrangements. To be fair to the Lawrance Team, I thought they were very professional. I recieved e mail, text and phone call en route to confirm arrangements. There... More

Chosen for its location, but not the best choice for quality. It was bitterly cold everywhere in the apartment but there is no heating control in the apartment as it is controlled by reception staff whose efforts failed. We had to sit wrapped in coats to keep warm. The dining table and chairs are garden furniture and unstable so that... More

Here at The Lawrance we strive to ensure that all guests enjoy their stay, this includes making sure that all the apartments are warm and comfortable. The apartments all benefit from under floor heating which has proved very effective in the past but as you state controlled from reception. We do ask all guests to contact reception if they would... This was our first trip to Harrogate to explore the surrounding countryside as well as visiting nearby York. The apartments are luxuriously furnished and certainly equivalent to a good 4 or 5* hotel. Even though you don't get some of the benefits of a hotel (room service, 24 hour reception etc.), it's perfectly adequate for a short break where you... More

My partner and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary for 2 nights. The apartment we had was no.2 which was a 1 bedroom apartment. It was very nice and modern with underfloor heating. The apartment was decorated in a very luxious way. It was in a perfect location with only a few minutes walk to where we needed... More
