The Motel, would be better decribed as hostel type accomadation, as its part of an Equestrian Centre (if you like horses probably ideal) but is clean and comfortable. Check your directions before leaving because its not that easy to find. We used it for a place to sleep and it served our purpose. We where travelling with small delivery van... more

We paid £40 for one night in a twin room. Breakfast was excellent for continental. You can have toast, cereal, muffins, pastries, cakes, fruit, yoghurts, tea/coffee and juices. This place has to be the best value accommodation north of the town. At £40 per night (should have been £35, but that's another story), it's great value - so long as you take along your sense of humour, don't stay too long and don't expect the Ritz (there are plenty of expensive hotels in Harrogate just waiting for you... more

This ‘motel’ is a building in the middle of nowhere in a dark muddy area that houses rooms. It is nowhere near on the ‘outskirts of Harrogate’ and is impossible to find. The hotel's name is very misleading. This is not a motel. It is located immediately next to a stables and livery and is miles down a track. You have to walk through the stableyard to get into the hotel. Unless you like horses and are just looking for a basic room from which to go off walking, this will not... more
