Stayed two nights last week with my wife and our friends (two couples) in this perfectly located Guest House, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac but close to the Ripon Road out of Harrogate. Easy parking by virtue of the parking pass you are presented with on arrival. To us the Guest House was perfectly located only a 5 minute walk... More

We had a large room on the top floor, with a newly fitted shower room, with an amazingly powerful shower. The owner was very friendly and helpful and insisted on carrying our bags up to our room. It was a quiet location, and parking on the road was easy to find with the disc provided, yet only 10 mins walk... More

Stayed 2 nights here, in a cosy warm room at the front of the house on the first floor. A lovely breakfast, really good quality, especially for the price. Friendly, comfortable, easy walk to town centre. Happy to allow us to leave our luggage there until our train time. They provide a great little map of Harrogate too, very useful.... More

had a great stay here in the summer! Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts offering us different options when we had to leave earlier than the breakfast times. A short walk in to the centre of Harrogate and off road parking, if I return to Harrogate I will stay there again, Highly recommend it!

Visited last week with my daughter. Very convenient location - easy walking into town. Cosy warm room, spotlessly clean, and lovely bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast was first class - cerials, juice, yoghurt, fruit and full English - especially good bacon! Oh and Nita was helpful and friendly ...... Would stay again when in Harrogate.

What a great place to stay for a long weekend. A very friendly and welcoming stay. Bedroom was simply but tastefully designed and decorated with a gorgeous en suite shower room. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Added to all of this the location was just five minutes walk from everything there is to see in Harrogate. Have never... More

My husband and I stayed at Ashwood House last week for two nights. We were warmly welcomed by Kristian on our arrival and met Nita next morning at breakfast. Nita was very informative about the local area and shops. Breakfast was both delightful and delicious. Would love to go back.
