Was staying in the hotel while working in Peterborough and was put up in a room for approximately 2 months. Initial impressions were very thought provoking and wondered if this was the best place available. But as the days progressed theplace grew on me and I started really enjoying being there. First to mention are the staff present. They are... more

I booked this hotel as it was dog friendly, and therefore we weren't expecting much. We ended up with a twin room despite booking a double. The room was very small, there were no extra pillow cases, the shower barely dribbled water out so I didn't bother washing my hair. my partner walked the dogs the next morning but the... more

I booked a last minute stay for one night and gave my card details. The trip was to deal with the death of my father-in-law. Due to circumstances I had to call by lunchtime and cancel my booking, I explained why and in view of the ease of booking assumed there were several rooms vacant and I would not incur... more

I contacted the hotel early in March 2008 to ask for a family room, with a travel cot and high-chair facilities. I was assured at the time that these would be available, and that I could check in at aprox. 11am. The night before I rang to confirm the details and was told everything was okay. I arrived on the... more

We stayed at this hotel recently and it is not one we would recommend to anyone. To start with there were no towels in our room, I did ask for some and they duly arrived, I failed to ask for the bath mat and flannels and consequently they did not arrive. There was spare pillow but did not have a... more

I didn't expect much for £45, but got less. The hotel needs serious refurbishment. The first room I was offered couldnt be locked from outside .I was there early enough to get switched , but it was clear to me that although they expressed surprise the door and lock had been that way for some time. The room I was... more

On opening our hotel room I reeled basckwards from the heat, the radiators were on full, whilst being 19/20 degrees outside, promptly turned these off. Our stay started on the night before smoking ban in public spaces, and I think everyone was taking their last opportunity to smoke indoors as whilst in bed you could feel the smoke hitting the... more

Fairly cheap hotel (£55 per night B&B) across the road from the hospital and 10-15 minute walk from railway Station and Town Centre Pros: Cheap; good breakfast; handy for hospital & railway station Cons: Tiny room; poor soundproofing internally; bar closed Sunday & no food available on arrival; no desk area; shower a dribble rather than a jet of water more
