Used this TL for convenience travelling from the south back up north, it's situated on the southbound A1 so had to come back on myself but only a short distance, car park was quite full but managed to get a space, usual, reliable TL hotel, friendly and welcoming staff on check in, clean and tidy room, comfortable new style bed.... A typical Travelodge that is fine for an overnight stopover if going to an event at the nearby showground. It is situated directly alongside the A1 outside the pretty village of Alwalton. Its location means you have to accept road noise but the rooms are comfy enough and offer tea/coffee making facilities. There is a large free car park and... More

As you would expect from a Travel Lodge but the camp beds they have instead of sofa beds are very hard and uncomfortable! Staff helpful and willing to give extra supplies of tea & coffee! Convenient for where we were going

I stayed here for a business meeting just for 1 night thank god! The reception area stank of fags. On the way up to my room there was an area were the carpet was pulled back revealing floor boards. There was chucks on wood missing from door frames and paint missing on the walls along with various other marks. Once... More

A pleasant lady welcomed me ,Room was fine , very clean and comfortable. The only problem was I couldnt sleep because of the very close proximity of the A1. your right on it, Some more glazing required in rooms .Of course I had the obligatory staff smoking right outside on my departure ,

This hotel is set alongside the A1 and is very convenient for visiting Peterborough, Stamford and the surrounding area. We were greeted on arrival by the friendly receptionist and in our room in less than 5 minutes. Our room faced the A1 and I expected to be kept awake by the traffic but I wasn't. There was a sheet on... More

We stayed at Alwalton travel lodge for 2 nights. This travel lodge is on the busy A1. We stayed in a room at the front of the building therefore had road noise. I usually cannot sleep in a noisy enviroment but with the windows closed it was only a slight rumble and didnt stop me from sleeping, but I would... More

Price for rooms is low, but this shows that generally in life, you get what you pay for. Reception staff smoking at entrance door upon arrival and when exiting later on. The hotel has a tired feel and would benefit from a refit / decoration. Room was tired, especially the bathroom. It is unecessary to see mould in shower corners... More

Arrived slightly early but Receptionist was more than helpful, I think her name was Louise, checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed, There were several rooms booked for the Family as we were in the area for a funeral, She was very kind and thoughtful and took the time to ask us if everything has been...
