This hotel was terrible, My room was next to the A1 so I had traffic All night. The shower wouldn't work properly and 2 lights in the room didn't work. When these problems were put to the staff they seemed not bothered and didn't try to solve any problems.

Situated on the A1, this Travelodge is convenient for travellers. It's not exactly the Ritz, or even a decent Travelodge, but it's inexpensive. The beds are decent enough, the shower was a bit poor, and it wasn't as clean as other Travelodges that I have stayed in. There is a grotty Little Chef next door where you can buy breakfast... More

Booked a double and received a twin room. The noise from outside traffic and guests was really bad. Worse was the noise from the reception staff next to the room late at night. The room was smelly (cigarettes/damp). The shower was luke warm and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. The TV remote was missing. There were insufficient towels for 2... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience Dean C. We remind all of our customers to keep their noise levels to a minimum when around the hotel and we especially ask our staff to respect this during their shifts. All items should be working in your room, as well as being set up correctly with comfortable bedding... More

A comfortable and somewhat cosy hotel, this is a small Travelodge that is ideally located on the edge of Peterborough. The reception is a little compact, but the service is very friendly. The room was very quiet, possibly because it was at the back of the hotel - it wasn't evident that the hotel was next to a near-motorway trunk... More

Block blocking made for weekly stays. 1st week boiling hot room. Second week given a room with a broken lock. Third week, I get in the shower only to find out that the shower gel has not been replenished. Wi-fi paid for on daily rate, issues trying to get on each visit. Staff are friendly and helpful when you ask... More

We booked the Travelodge Peterborough Alwalton to stay for 2 nights to attend a nearby wedding. First impressions were that it was quite basic, but hey its a Travelodge at £30 a night people! The road outside (A1) was noisy but it did not keep us awake. The Friday night we went to the lovely Cuckoo pub 5 mins walk... More

Staff were very helpful but the room did not match the advertising. Tha bathroom was tired and shabby, the tv reception was dreadful and the choice of channels was terrible. The Internet connectivity was worse than useless. I had stayed at Peter borough central the night before which was great on all counts. I tried to contact the complaints dept... More

Overall a typical example of Travelodge hotels. A quick check around the room on arrival showed no bin liners for either bin. Only a very small amount of toilet paper in the bath room, certainly not enough for two people overnight. They was heavy dust on the headboard above the bed, heavy dust on the rim of the mirror &...
