Small friendly hotel which is a ten minute walk from the town centre. Rooms are very clean and provide all the basic essentials plus a very nice selection of teas and coffee. Very nice food in the restaurant but small portions. Our second visit and we will be returning again.

Good value for money basic clean room that contained essentials. Comfortable bed but a little scratchy! Arrived late after last minute booking and wasn't impressed with the salty pasta that I was served. Staff were very friendly and I enjoyed cooked breakfast, especially vegetarian sausage that was served up rather than the usual self service dried out range. The staff... More

This hotel is within walking distance of the city centre and a stones throw from the football stadium. It was our 2nd stay at the hotel. We went there a long time ago when they were just starting the refresh. Rooms were small but clean. Contained the essentials such as hair dryer, iron, shower gel. Water was nice and hot.... More

The hotel itself is an older looking building on the outside (and very difficult to find your way around), however is very modern looking on the inside. The room was lovely and clean, bed comfortable and bathroom clean. The staff are mostly very friendly and helpful and always willing to answer questions asked of them. I will stay here again... More

I tried this hotel based on some reviews on tripadvisor. I'd been staying at the Quality Hotel previously. I was pleasantly surprised by the Queensgate Hotel and have stayed a further two times trying out their executive suite and standard room. The Good: Modern rooms with lots of features. Ironing board and trouser press is included which is great for... More

I recently spent a week in this hotel. From the outside, and in the public spaces of the hotel, it looks fine. As others have mentioned the parking area is quite crowded. The lack of parking bay markings doesn't help - there would be room for two more cars if people parked more reasonably. The hotel is built in two... More

Dear Guest Thank you for submitting your review. I would just like to clarify a couple of points in it. Firstly I am sorry you had to wait a couple of days for the light in your bathroom to be repaired. Being an electrical fitting, we called an electrician as soon as you reported it, once he looked at it... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night on a deal that cost us £42 including breakfast. Excellent value for money at that price. Reception customer service was excellent - personally took us upto our room, offering to carry our bags. The room was a good size and was clean, as was the bathroom which had a powerful shower... Booked an executive double room (with breakfast) through booking.com for £76 and have no complaints about vfm. Helpful receptionist took us to our room which was unusual but a nice touch. There is onsite car parking but it was very full when we arrived and had someone not moved soon after we arrived, we'd have had to park elsewhere. Room... More

A large proportion of our choir stayed in this hotel for a week as we were singing at the cathedral. Due to the main road closure and poor directions I got lost and phoned the hotel for directions. The night porter was really helpful and gave me advice as to how to proceed. I arrived after midnight and he came... More

We stayed in Queensgate Hotel just for one night, meant to be a quick city break in Peterborough. We stayed in a superior double room with my wife. To be honest, the hotel was far more better than I expected for the price (£52, included breakfast). Our room was probably recently refurbished (Room 45), very spacious with a huge super-kingsize...
