Booked an overnight stay at the hotel as I wanted to break quite a lengthy journey. Made the reservation over the telephone and the receptionist was courteous and understanding. On arrival, the room (a double for single occupancy) was ready and waiting. The room was more thanm adequate for my needs. Had a pleasant meal in the restaurant. Breakfast the... more

This hotel should be prosecuted under the DDA regulations for failing to provide adequate safe facilities for those in wheelchairs. The assessible rooms are not. No wet room, toilet at wrong height, beds at wrong height, no access to wash basin. corridors impossible to traverse independantly due to doors. Food is good though. For able bodied an ok budget hotel. more

My family and I were attending a Wedding and chose the Ramada for it's location and what we thought would be a standard you could rely on. The location was great, with great views over the rowing lake but that's the best we could say. Firstly the hotel got the booking wrong, then they allocated rooms which were still being... more

We stayed there as part of a coach party of mature professional people. Our group organiser had come to the hotel a few weeks earlier to meet the staff and had identified a few changes he wanted to be made to improve our stay; this was obviously taken on board because we found it difficult to fault. Very nice hotel... more

We stayed here one night over the Christmas period. Although the hotel had "skeleton staff" (hardly any guests were staying there either!) and none of the facilities were open (bar / restaurant) we had continental breakfast delivered to our room at our chosen time. We agree that the rooms are looking a little dated, however ours was clean and comfortable.... more

Held our wedding there this month and after a few hiccups with booking (all our guests were accommodated in the end) we had a wonderful day. Our room was lovely, the room we hired for the ceremony and the reception was nicely decorated, clean and light. All areas we saw of the hotel looked in very good condition and cared... more

I've just got back from a four night stay in the Ramada, Peterborough. Being a bank holiday weekend my other hotel choices were all full, so I booked into this hotel without having set my expectations too highly - and a good thing too. The rooms are VERY outdated and could certainly use a refurb. I can say 'rooms' because... more

Only a minute or two from the main ring road around Peterborough, this hotel sits in attractive grounds, next to the rowing lake. There are walks around the lake, and a nearby steam engine attraction. There's also a large pub next door to the hotel, which has ample outdoor seating, and serves typical pub grub. There is a vast car... more
