Used this as a half way meeting point for pre Christmas family get together. The pub is beautiful to look at with its stone archway and quirkiness inside, but the food and service was second to none. Lovely relaxing place to while away a cold December Sunday with family. Will definitely be back for more.

I stayed at The Bell for one night prior to working on a tradestand at the LAMMA show. My room was well appointed and very comfortable with a large double bed and a sofa to relax on. We had a superb meal in the Bistro and the service was top notch despite the restaurant being full of large parties. I... More

What a fantastic hotel! We went as a party of 6 on a quiet Sunday night and were made very welcome indeed. The rooms were beautiful (I think we were upgraded). We ate in the bar and everyone agreed the food was top notch, and the staff were so accommodating. The breakfast was also very good. We had all just... More

Stated here on the recommendation of a business colleague. Great hotel, cosy bar, excellent restaurant and very comfortable rooms. Friendly staff throughout. Worth a detour to stay a night or two or eat in the restaurant if passing through or in the area. Highly recommend.

A great place to stay, beats the socks off of chain hotels, well priced. Restaurant excellent, and breakfast 1st class. No need to dine elsewhere restaurant/bistro and pub are all attached to the venue. Nice roaring log fire when I attended. Good selection of ales. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This was a birthday lunch. Superb location, and delightful setting in the medieval old coaching house. We were welcomed with opened arms, although the dining room/ bar was full, but were soon seated. An excellent selection of real, ales and a good menu on tap. The food was well served, with very attentive staff, and nothing was too much trouble. One... More

Excellent. The hotel is in the village of Stilton and it is very nice. Easy checking, we had booked a garden room which was very nice I loved the soft furnishings, good size bathroom and nice large towels. There are plenty of tables and chairs outside for when the weather is good unfortunately we were there in November so couldn't... More

We visited the Bell Inn for my birthday last month and stayed in a room with a four poster bed. It was full of charm and I enjoyed looking through all the information about the history of Stilton and the cheese. The dining room was having a new carpet fitted so we had to have our breakfast in the bistro... More

Visited on the spur of the moment on the way home from Peterborough one Sunday. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly. The food was exquisite. Absolutely perfect. I intend to return on my future visits to the area. I'd be stupid not to!
