Lovely couple of evenings away. About £20 in taxi to Peterborough though, so if you're planning on getting out and about without your car, then just remember it could get expensive. Clean, tidy and very accommodating as we had arrived late, due to traveling from lancashire in rush our. Would stay again.

Impressed, the room was spotless, with a small kitchenette which was a surprise, great value for money, car park is small, so get in quick.it is close to the A1, but it has good double glazing and you dont hear any noise.

I saw this place on Trip Advisor and thankfully I read the reviews before looking elsewhere. At £ 39 for a single room I was suspicious but then read the reviews. It's unusual in that there's no reception, no lounge, no bar - but who needs them when there's great pubs nearby together with an Indian restaurant and convenience store.... More

Stayed with my daughter overnight on long trip from Kent to tour Leeds Uni. I asked for 2 single rooms, they only had one so they gave us that and a double for price of single. Fantastic value - came out as same price as if we had booked one room in Premier Inn. So was bit sceptical as to... More

Stayed for one night in Nov'14 and was very good value. Very clean and good facilities in the room. Local shop opposite plus a couple of local pubs. Would recommend to anyone. Room was supplied with a fridge and kitchen area with sink and Microwave.

Had booked in for the night while myself and Ms LostEnglishman celebrated a friend's wedding. What had swung it was the Lodge being cheaper than the Premier Inn further up the road on the same night, and I'm extremely glad that was the case. We had a warm reception on arrival, and was handed the room key and front door... More

We stayed just for one night as a stop off on our long journey to pick up a new car on our way to East Anglia from the North West, I have to say it was great value for money. The room was situated at the back of the guest house which was nice and quiet and also very clean,... More

I would describe this place as a similar standard to Travelodge with the benefits of an in room kitchenette, including microwave, fridge and washing up facilities. It also includes the standard tea/coffee and kettle. Great for anyone working away on a budget. Alternatively, there are two pubs, The Talbot and the Stilton Cheese (both doing food), an Indian restaurant and... More
