I needed a bed close to the airport as my flight landed at way past midnight. I was shown a room that looked like a second hand furniture shop. There was a toilet roll on the table, I was not shown where the toilets were. There 2 cups & saucers on the table, but no kettle. The pillow case left... More

me and my mate were doing a bike tour around the south island. our standards werent particularly high, but this place was by far the worst we had stayed in. the rooms used to be old storage units and thats the way you get treated too. the owners just care about the money. the sheets had not been washed or... Needed a place near airport due to very early flight. This was the only one we could find. But just don't do it. Room, kitchen & bathrooms unclean and smelly. No toilet paper. No towels to rent. No duvet. Avoid at all costs. Sleep in the airport instead.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. I can guarantee the sheets aren't cleaned after each visit and are covered in stains. The room stinks, the facilities are awful and we felt uncomfortable. The majority of the people there are living there full time. Its not a travelers backpackers.

Disgusting smell in toilets and shower was swimming in water. Room linen was dubious and smelt of cat and noise was extreme. Would never stay again as we were very uncomfortable during our night there. The service when booking in is null and void. There was no directions to where the toilets were or the kitchen.

Service of this place was terrible, noise was awful and place was super dirty, looks like no attempts at cleaning any if the facilities. The receptionist was so unhelpful, it was like she didn't even want our service, she was unfriendly and just couldn't be bothered answering any of our questions. We have never come across such poor and disgusting... More

Second night stay in New Zealand and second nights accommodation for 6 months traveling and by far the worst for them all. Last resort as we were late trying to find somewhere and this was our last option. When we arrived there was no-one there, so after a phone call we were giving a padlock code which opened a locker... Was what my daughter discribed thiss place before leaving to find another place to stay. Lacked security, bed unmade and room dirty. I rang to explain the departure and the reasons but the Asian female manager didn't care. I then cancelled a further booking and had to request a refund as she clearly wasn't going to apologise let alone offer!!... More

my fault that i didn't at least to a basic check before i booked this. the beds are yucky, they don't even supply a doona cover. i am totally fine with only having the most basic accomodation, but it needs to be clean. and this so isn't. the attend doesn't help, either. despite looking quite close to the airport, the... We booked a double room, only wanting a cheap clean room for a brief overnight stop. It was cheap, but it wasn't clean. The sheet on the bed was clearly dirty when we arrived. I asked for it to be changed. They said no. I offered to change it. "No" again. The reception staff explained to me that it wasn't... More
