The weather was not good but we wanted to go to Wicklow because it is cheap to go at this time of the year. We booked the hotel by phone: the staff was very friendly and helpfull. When we got to the hotel, we went to the bar which was really nice! The staff were lovely too! The room was... More

Arrived late on a Friday night for a quiet weekend away with the wife. Drove into the carpark which was like driving on the surface of the moon, full of pot holes that were full of water and young teenagers hanging around outside the nightclub drinking alcohol. The room was average enough, the decor looked like it was done by... More

My sister and I stayed in the Grand Hotel on a Living Social Voucher which was 129 euro for two nights B&B and Afternoon Tea for two. This is good value at approximately 65 euro per person B&B and would be about the mark. For that price it was good value. Our room was large with a double and a... More

Water in the showers was only luke warm for all the group, but I think this was a one-off and it was piping hot in the morning. No remote for... More

Stayed in the Grand Hotel. Nice stay, been there before. It does seem to lack the bounce that it once had, but maybe that just the times we live in. Staff very helpful and pleasant, which makes a change from some places! I like a hotel that has atmosphere and an approach that makes one feel at home. Family run... More
