I stayed in this Hotel last Valentines week-end with my husband and son for two nights in a Family room. From arriving to departing we enjoyed our stay. Every member of staff was helpful and courteous, the staff at this Hotel are its best asset. The accommodation was 3 *, clean and great service, food was beautiful, huge portions with... More

Stayed with the wife on Valentine's night for a night away from the kids. Check in was prompt and the receptionist was very friendly. The Bar Large bar area with friendly staff and excellent bar food. Plenty of choice in both food and drinks. Locals were friendly and chatty too. Breakfast was served until 11 on the Sunday morning which... More

Clean building delightful staff and good service. That being said some of the worst food I have eaten in a long time .. The rib eye was over cooked to the point of being like shoe leather it obviously went from frozen to well done but ordered rare. Management refused to make any adjustment on tab. If you eat here... This hotel was by far the most expensive of all the places we visited in Southern Ireland on our travels. We would have expected so much more for the price we paid. The decor is certainly in need of a revamp and modernisation. The room was comfortable but quiet neglected and very dated. We had a nice meal in the... More

The hotel interior is very dated and the bedrooms badly need an upgrade, they are very small and the first room we checked into the shower head was missing and the towel rail fell off the wall! However when we did go back to reception and complain they upgrade us to the honeymoon suite which was a much bigger room.... More

I had the most pleasant experience on St Stephens night that I feel compelled to write a review on this establishment. Myself my husband my father and daughter who are local to the establishment went for a few quiet drinks in the bar and I want to commend the staff on the service that they gave us that went far... we recently stayed here for two nights during the Christmas holidays. We had purchased an online deal which was €99 for two nights b&b with two course dinner and glass of prosecco for two people. This deal was extremely good value. The downstairs of the hotel is well presented, our room however while clean, was in need of a lot... More

On the eve of the Ireland v South Africa international rugby match the hotel put on the best dinner on the theme of a South African menu I have yet to better There were many folk from that country who endorsed that sentiment. The lamb mince main course was simply tasty. The desserts were amazing from twisted sisters to mel... More

Stayed at the Grand Hotel wicklow, rooms are clean and tidy, bed linen was fresh and the bathroom, shower was really clean. I would recommend this hotel, in particular the breakfast the following morning was great, i had the full Irish breakfast and thought it was fantastic. The staff were helpful and polite. A double room with breakfast was about... More
