My wife and I had a great experience at the Wicklow Way Lodge near Roundwood, Ireland. Marilyn and Sheamus were very pleasant hosts. We loved getting to know them. The lodge is nicely situated in the Wicklow mountains with beautiful views and plenty of countryside to explore. Our room was very nice, as expected. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We... After reading the wonderful reviews here, I knew that this was the place for me to stay on my first visit to Ireland (from Atlanta, GA, USA) in August 2014. I emailed several weeks before and when Marilyn replied that they could accommodate me for the days I had requested, I was thrilled! I decided to call right away to... More

We stayed at the Wicklow Way Lodge one night in mid July. It's in a beautiful location off the beaten track but still not far from Roundwood, Glendalough and the sights of Wicklow National Park. Marilyn, Seamus and their staff were very helpful in locating a garage for us to fix a flat tire we had the misfortune to have... More

We absolutely loved our 2 day stay in our wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the Wicklow mountains. From the beginning emails to our arrival, Marilyn couldn't have been more helpful. She took care of everything from helpimg us make our dinner arrangements to the transportation to get us there and back so we could enjoy the pubs too. The... More

We stayed at the Wicklow Way Lodge mid-June 2014. This bed and breakfast is top quality. Marilyn was so pleasant and helpful with her suggestions and directions. The area has a lot to take in and the people are all so friendly. The view from our room of the mountains was breathtaking. The dogs and cats were also extremely friendly.... More

My boyfriend and I spent just one night here but we loved it so much and we definitely want to come back. Marilyn was very accommodating, as we booked the room very last minute, just the night before we wanted to stay. We got a bit lost trying to find it, but a quick call to her set us straight.... More

It is indeed ON the Wicklow Way, but even better are the walks you can do from the Lodge without even getting in your car. The village of Roundtree is just a few miles away with excellent pubs (many with music). The host is a near and very helpful. The views are lovely. We will definitely go back.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in early June and absolutely loved the place. Our room was nicely furnished and the views from the deck were spectacular, especially sunrise over the mountains. Marilyn and Seamus were perfect hosts and made us feel at home. The breakfasts were fantastic and fueled us through the entire day. If you've... More

We stayed two nights at the Wicklow Way Lodge. It is a beautiful B&B on a gorgeous property. Seamus and Marilyn are wonderful hosts. You have to have Marilyn's porridge and breads - they are delicious. Take a walk with their dog Pan - he's a good guide! Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Try to get a... More

We stayed at the Wicklow Way Lodge for the first 3 nights of our Ireland adventure... and what a way to start the trip! We landed in Dublin and only a short drive (at most 40 min) later, we arrived in a picturesque countryside with tiny, treelined roads and views to die for. The lodge was pretty simple to find...
