We were new to the Irish B&B circuit and the Wicklow Way Lodge provided a delightful introduction. After a day's walk, Marilyn greeted us warmly with a very welcome drink of cool water, then showed us to a beautiful room. The views from the balcony are spectacular and the architecture of the accomodations compliments the lovely natural surroundings. After a... more

Marilyn and her family have created a destination B & B. The beds are sumptuous enough to lure you to sleep even if you have hiked too much or are still adjusting to jet lag - probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in away from home. The dogs are friendly, but don't enter the guest bedrooms so allergies are... more

My fiance and I stayed at the Wicklow Way Lodge for one night in April, and I would have loved to stay longer. We stayed in one of the front rooms with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Unfortunately the day we were there was cloudy and foggy, so we didn't have the greatest view, but it didn't take away from... more

Excellent! Couldn't have asked for more. The hospitality was second to none.......This was our 5th stay in Ireland and the best B&B so far. The porridge is a must. They couldn't have been more friendly or do enough for you to make your stay a pleasant one. Recommend a trip to Glendalough, Wicklow Way for a walk (make sure you... more

Our first two nights in Ireland were spent at the WWL which turned out to be one of the best B&Bs we’ve visited. Very warm and sincere reception from Marilyn and her dogs, incredible scenery and setting, clean and bright rooms, and probably the BEST traditional Irish breakfast that couldn’t have been beat throughout the rest of our trip. If... more

Stayed at the Wicklow Way lodge B&B in May of 2007. It was the best B&B we stayed at during this trip or two previous trips to Ireland. Everything was perfect - super accomodations, great view from the suite, delicious food, a fair price and, most importantly, great Irish hospitality. more

Everything Susan from London wrote I would have to repeat: the place is great, the owners are super friendly and the Restaurant closeby is superb (though I think it was in Roundwood, not Laragh). I had a lovely room with a balcony - thus spectacular views. We ran out of wine at about 01:00 at night and got another bottle... more

Wicklow Way Lodge is a fabulous bed and breakfast. It has everything one needs for a pleasant stay: clean rooms; good breakfast; friendly host and beautiful surroundings. Marilyn and her son went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We liked the special little touches in the bedrooms: magazines, chocolate biscuits, good quality shower gel and shampoo etc.... more

Not the easiest place to find (4km from the main road) but well worth it, especially for the view from a balcony room. The breakfast porridge (with lashings of brown sugar and cream) was exceptional, as was the daily home-baked bread; aside from these, you can have virtually any breakfast variation you want. The lodge is newly built for its... more

This was my fourth time staying in what I think has to be the best B&B in Ireland! As soon as we arrived through the doors we were made to feel so welcome and quite literally all the worries of the world disappear and you relax in the comfort and oppulance of the B&B. Underground heating, a truly lovely bedroom... more
