In September I travelled to Ireland with two friends. We planned to walk from B&B to B&B along the Wicklow Way. Our first day of the Wicklow Way was Sunday September 13th. We started south of Enniskerry and planned on making it to the Wicklow Way Lodge. Even though the day started out well, we had a bit of a... More

I've stayed here 5 or 6 times over the years, and it remains one of my favorite B&Bs in the entire Republic of Ireland. Marilyn and Seamus are very special people. It's obvious that they love what they do, and you can't find more gracious or helpful hosts! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and immaculate, and the views of the... More

My fiancé and I stayed at Wicklow Way Lodge the first night after we arrived in Ireland. We were welcomed at check-in by Marilyn and Seamus, and she was kind enough to hold our bags while we went and explored Glendalough (we arrived a few hours before check in). Marilyn also spent time going over a map of the Wicklow... More

What a Grand way to start our 3 week discovery tour of Ireland & Northern Ireland. After arriving at the Dublin Airport, selecting a rental vehicle, loading up, the touring Powerscourt Gardens & Falls, we (two couples) arrived very tired at the Wicklow Way Lodge and were immediately welcomed by Marilyn & Seamus. This is a splendid place and location... More

The Wicklow Way Lodge was a gorgeous home in the Wicklow Mountains! We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every moment! Marilyn and Seamus were wonderful hosts! Marilyn welcomed us upon check-in and provided us a map of the area and suggested places to get a pint and informed us of dinner options as well. Our room was at the... More

We booked a room with a balcony, unfortunately due to the mist we could not fully enjoy it. The room was very spacious and clean, the shower was the best one we had during our stay in Ireland. The Breakfast was good and fresh. Marylin is a great hostess, gave us plenty of recommendations about the things to see and... More

Marilyn and Seamus are excellent hosts. The Wicklow Way Lodge is serene, beautiful, and the rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. Probably the top B&B we stayed at on our entire holiday. My mother and I stayed here on our first night from Dublin airport for our girls-only Ireland tour and we were quite tired, but had a lovely trip to... More

We stayed at the Lodge last week for three nights on the first leg of our Irish vacation. It was our favorite B&B! Marilyn was a great hostess and her oatmeal lived up to its' reputation. Rooms were very clean and a wonderful location...especially for walking/hiking. Good restaurants nearby in Roundwood. Would definitely stay again. Best value for the euro... More

We've made a number of trips to Ireland over the years and stayed in a variety of accommodation. This, however, was the best yet. Not only is County Wicklow spectacular and just a stone's throw from Dublin - the mix of dramatic scenery, monastic sites, sea, mountains, amazing forests, and a new scene every turn of the road - but... Marilyn and Seamus were both amazing hosts and our room had an incredible view of the mountains! I am not sure what her recipe was of porridge consisted of but it was amazing! The service was excellent and I plan on staying here again!! The room was clean and spacious and the house pets had lots of character! Thank you... More
