This is a little apartment with cooking facilities and a full Irish breakfast is included in the price of the room. The host is very friendly and gave us tips of where to go for dinner and where to see a very good attraction, the Wicklow Museum. The back garden runs down to the Leitrim River which runs into the sea... More

Stayed one night in a sunny June 2014. Location is perfect, just 2 mins from town centre, 5 mins from beach and harbour wall walks. At the back of the B&B there's a sitting area on the river bank. Lady owner friendly, and recommended couple of places up the road to eat - both looked nice, and the one we... More

We stayed one night in May during a golfing trip across Ireland. Location is nice, along the river and just a couple of minutes walk from town centre. Our room was pretty large, but there was an additional bed taking so much room that we couldn’t open our luggage properly. While breakfast and hosts were both nice, we faced anyway... More

Great location just a couple of minutes walk into the town centre. The owner was very friendly and happy to spend time discussing places of interest. The breakfast was excellent with views overlooking the river

We stayed three nights in May and we were very happy with the accommodations. We rented a car so the car park was a plus for us. The landing below the car park was a lovely place to sit and relax. The swans swimming by were a nice touch. There is market just down the hill, and a pharmacy, and... More

Trish was the sweetest host ever. We only stayed one night but she made us feel like family. She makes a great cup of tea & coffee and breakfast was amazing! The b&b is very cozy and in walking distance into the main part of town. We literally stepped out and walked down the road to restaurants, coffee shops and... More

Trish is a fantastic host who makes a wonderful cup of tea and is a wealth of information about the local area and beyond. The room are spacious and comfortable, though you need to go up stairs to access them - not a problem for us, but it may be for some. If you go in December, just remember it... More

We didn't have reservations when we showed up in Wicklow. We found Trish at the River Lodge. The place was very clean and comfortable. We had a large room that was facing the street, but it was still quiet and nice. We would definitely go back. We loved Wicklow! Great place to visit.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a tour or Ireland. Landlady (I’m rubbish at remembering names) was very welcoming and friendly, we had a good chat and she gave us plenty of tips for the town and area. Parking at the back is quite spacious, with room to turn to get back out. From the car park there... More
