My sister and I had the most delightful visit in Wicklow staying at Glen Na Smole, Regatta weekend. Wonderful duvets and exquisite pillows on the bed. Fiona charged my phone as I came away without my converter and we had the same brand of phone luckily. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities that we enjoyed immensely. Being a... My Wife and I stayed at this B&B recently and enjoyed our overnight visit. Fiona gave us a friendly welcome on our arrival. We had an upstairs room that was spacious and nicely fitted out. The bathroom was good but an exhaust fan would be an inexpensive and welcome addition. The day we arrived was quite warm and with the... More

We arrived late evening because of ferry delay and Dublin traffic. No problem for Fiona, who not only recommended a place to eat in Wicklow but then drove us to it's doorstep! What an excellent introduction to Irish hospitality! We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was smart and tidy with a comfy bed. TV reception... More

This is a really nice B&B! The rooms are lovely, and we were offered coffee tea and cakes when we arrived. The breakfast was stupendous, with lots of yummy and unusual options, like porridge with Bailey's, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, and of course the full Irish breakfast, and others! We have stayed at a lot of places all over... More

Good room, very tidy and well appointed. Good location for touring to Wicklow Mountains and Powerscourt Gardens. Hostess Fiona set up tee time at local golf course and loaned us her clubs, that was really appreciated. Town within walking distance

We stayed here after playing golf in Wicklow. It's a 5-10 minute drive from the golf club and is in the country, so it's quiet. We had two rooms - one downstairs and the other upstairs. Both were comfortable. The downstairs room's en-suite was quite small but had everything you expect, whilst the one upstairs was larger. The breakfast was... More

Very clean and comfy room. Stairs to access guest rooms are just near the front door, so very private and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic (although I still don't know what is in white pudding, just try it and see said Fiona with a smile), but seriously, I'm a big bloke and the full Irish breakfast was enough to keep me... We needed a room for one night having had a fabulous afternoon walking through the Glendalough/National Park area. Lovely comfortable room, friendly owners, and perfect for a drive into Wicklow for an evening meal. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and was also very good.

This was our last of eight B&B's we stayed in on our Ireland trip, and it was a lovely end to our time. Fiona is a gracious host and the house is elegant and peaceful and Wicklow is just a long (1/2 hour) walk or short drive away. The house is very tastefully done and had a nice feel. There... More
