Just found this B and B on the Internet and booked it by phone an hour before we reached Arklow. The room was spacious and comfortable and for a small establishment had a phenomenal range of literature about the area and some about places up to 50 miles away. It gets cold in mid November but the radiator was switched... More

My family and I (6 adults) roadtripped across Ireland in the fall of 2010. We stayed at a different B&B for each night of our 10-day vacation. Pinebrook was absolutely lovely! It's within walking distance to town (about 10-15 min walk) and has free, off-street parking. Geraldine, the hostess, was so helpful! She drew us a map of how to... More

we only stayed for one night, and we had to catch the bus in the early morning, the owner told us bus schedule and all the detail that we needed, which helped us a lot. The room was great, nice and clean. There was really nothing to complain about. December. 2009

We were 3 adults and a 12 years old boy travelling around Ireland. We stayed only two nights and so we booked just one room with 4 beds in the internet. When we arrived at the pinebrook b&b, geraldine welcomed us very warm and hearty and offerd us two rooms for more privacy... Thank you for that! The rooms are... More

This is what Irish B&B's were like before the boom/bust. Friendly and flexible welcome. Nice rooms. TV room for guests with lots of DVD's. Breakfast at 7.15 was perfect. Great to see such good friendly service. Free wireless internet is always a nice touch.

On Friday 3rd September 2010, I travelled to Arklow in County Wicklow with my partner. We were in Arklow to visit a friend and due to work commitments we would only be staying for one night.
