Stayed here with my mother who was in a wheelchair and the room was great with easy access ability. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river and were very comfortable. Diner and breakfast were of a high standard . The hotel makes a great base for touring in the area and is located where you can have... More

This hotel is set in one of the most beautiful areas in Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland, which makes up for its lack of style and modernity. However the staff are most friendly and the breakfast was excellent, rooms are basic and small and not in the most fashionable decor, however they are adequate and spotlessly clean. We stayed in... I stayed there last Tuesday (23rd June) with a few friends on the last day of our Golfing Tour.It is the 4th time I have stayed there and the 1st for my friends. This hotel is a delight from the moment you enter and book in, it is how I imagine hotels from a bygone era. Considering it is Irelands... More

Very friendly staff and we had a warm welcome. The room was in the hotel (Not the Annexe) and it was spacious and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good free Wi-Fi. It was very busy when we arrived mid-afternoon (it was Father's Day) but we were dealt with very professionally. Later in the evening we had a very nice meal... More

Very friendly staff, warm welcome. Had a lovely meal in the bar. Room was very modern and stylish, however it was uncomfortably hot and bed was not that comfortable. It was a lovely place to stay for one night as we were travelling through but would not stay for more than 1 night.

A very good three star hotel, superior to many four star hotels. An excellent welcome from reception, who were extremely helpful, and a bedroom with all the essentials and a few extras. Although the hotel is I guess about 200 years old, probably a large coaching inn, it has been updated very tastefully. A very good menu, well prepared and... More

My family came here a few weeks ago in early June. With it being the first time traveling with our 6 month old we were flustered. The hotel actually helped us with an early check-in, a refrigerator for baby formula, and let us borrow a converter.. which alone gets 5 stars from me. Had a lovely dinner there and then... More

Just spent two nights in room 301 in the lodge. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The tea and scones on arrival were fabulous. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat at night time but menu looked nice. The breakfast was really beautiful. Cooked to order. Bowl of lovely fresh fruit if ordered. I had the homemade granola natural... More

I spent two nights in this hotel as part of a large family group. We chose the hotel not having stayed here before due to it's convenient (and beautiful) location! There was something for all - restaurant, lounge, bar, near golf course, pubs, walkways through mountains and woods, you couldn't ask for a better location! The hotel itself was beautiful... More
