Kathleen and her husband offer a lovely welcome to a fantastic property. The house is lovely and very well appointed with all that a traveler might wish to find in a B&B or small hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. But the farm setting and the ruined tower attached to the house make this a really spectacular place to stay. Just... more

I would recommend Killiane Castle to anyone. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and with its own ownsuite. The hosts were very gracious and provided information and directions on places to visit. The breakfast had a good variety and was beautifully presented and cooked. The gounds were very well kept. Whilst not a problem for us - visitors should... more

I recently stayed at Killiane castle with my sister and my two nieces. We found the accommodations so very pleasant - the manor house was lovely, the bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom really had a bath! From the foyer to the bathrooms, everything was decorated tastefully and communicated comfort. We arrived late in the afternoon and immediately went on... more

The stay was amazing we didnt want to leave. The family who work and run the farm could not have been any nicer (even the farm dog,Holly, led us on a tour). The rooms were beautiful and immaculate. The breakfast was more than you could ever ask for. This stop was definitely one of the highlights to our trip. Absolutely... more

We would have loved to stay for a long time! A week wasn't long enough to see what was in range with the car, and not enough time to truly relax in the many vignette garden spots created in this lovely place. And a browse in the castle (in the process of restoration) convinced me that I wasn't missing anything... more

I stayed in Killiane castle with a friend last July. When we arrived we were directed to our room overlooking the farm and then shown where we could make tea and coffee. The macaroons were addictive and the information on the surrounding area was excellent. We went for a walk around the farm - very enjoyable and the real thing,... more

We just got back from a 2 day stay at the Killiane Castle B&B. We had a chance to visit Southeast Ireland for only 2 days and we decided to stay here. It is a GREAT place to stay! We prefer to stay at local-type accommodation and this was perfect. Hosts are very helpful. The room had a very comfortable... more

Killiane Castle is breathtaking from the moment you enter the driveway . The rooms are located in the farmhouse behind the castle. Furnishings are beautiful, our bedding was very confortable, rooms were spotless and the grounds are well cared for. The owner could not have been nicer. Breakfast was prepared by the owner and was great. The pancakes were the... more

We stayed one night at the castle. I knew the rooms were not actually in the castle so no surprise there. Kathleen, the host was very welcoming with tea & biccies on arrival. We were the only guests that night so were given a choice of room on the top floor. We chose the west-facing room to avoid the early... more

Yes, you don't actually stay in the castle, but the adjoining farmhouse was built in the 17th century so it is still pretty amazing. The kids loved exploring the castle and grounds. Definitely recommend! more
