Was working in Wexford found a good rate with this hotel. Two of us travelling was in ideal location for our office and close enought o the town for a walk round. Good food in Restaurant, great views, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Would have no hesitation recommending this place. more

It's a great pity as the location is wonderful but the rooms are incredibly dated and shabby akin to a 70's bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Talbot hotel twice in a week on our way to and from Cork. It is very conveniently located for the port at Rosslare. Reception staff are friendly, the bar is nice, although the service is not the quickest seemingly due to a lack of staff. Bar food is good, both in terms of choice and quality.... more

Recently enjoyed The Talbot, in Wexford, with friends on a special offer deal. From initial reception to departure, we were VERY impressed with the smiling, caring service, of ALL the staff we came into contact with, from Charmaine on the desk, through to bar and restaurant staff, and even the room service girls.
