We recently stayed in Rathaspeck Manor on two occasions, coming into and then leaving Ireland. The Manor is ideally placed for the Rosslare ferry and close to the lively town of Wexford. We arrived on a dark, wet windy night and, although it took some time to find Rathaspeck, the warm welcome from Betty made us feel very at home.... More

We just returned from 10 days touring Ireland and stayed at the Manor, unfortunately for only one night. Like many other reviews, the whole experience there is amazing! Betty is a terrific host and her attention to detail is flawless! The accommodations were truly one of a kind. We returned after an evening out on a rainy, blustery night to... More

Words cannot describe how truly beautiful and comfortable this lovely place is. My husband and I felt truly like the Lord and Lady of the Manor. Our accommodations were exceptional, especially the bathroom, huge, spotless, and complete with heated marble floor and footed tub both to die for! But the very best thing is the level of hospitality that our... More

Out of our three week tour of Scotland and Ireland, this was my very favourite accommodation! In a word - BEAUTIFUL! A well cared for and preserved manor! Spacious, luxurious and yet very "homey". The breakfast table was set with starched white linen napkins! The food was delicious! Betty gave us her soda bread recipe. Doubt we'll be able to... More

What a fabulous place! We stayed in Sir Aidens room. It was more than spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was larger than some hotel rooms I have had and had every convenience. Betty cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. She went out of her way to help with rental car problems. The golf course is charming and very... More

I cannot compliment Rathaspeck Manor enough! The Manor itself has a beautiful mix of the old and new and the setting couldn't be better. The place is spotless and the breakfast is delicious. The service provided by Betty was second to none and we will be back again.....and will stay for more than just one night!

Our first night in Ireland, close to the ferry (15 minutes away) which was good for us as we arrived only at 6pm. It's quite easy to find, and you're immediately impressed when driving through the gate, the manor house itself is very charming and full of history. We had a very warm welcome by the owner, we stayed in... More

This is by far the best B&B I've ever stayed in, and far surpasses many much more expensive hotels. Betty was a most accommodating host from the moment we arrived, insisting she gave us a lift to dinner in Wexford town which we were running late for. Betty is modesty and professionalism personified. She was a wealth of knowledge for... More

A great B&B with very friendly ownwers. A stunning house, beautifully decorated with real spacious rooms and a great bathroom. Nice bath and a great shower. Breakfast was very good. We had to leave early to catch the ferry but no problem to have breakfast before 7h. The only negative comments I can make is that the bed was a... More
