Ive been here many times now for the opera season and made good friends among Catrionas interesting guests over the years. This year she has her own chickens! Its like a real home from home coming here and do eat in Cistin Eile another great local institution.Standards are always high and she goes the extra mile like driving guests around... More

Friendly, delicious and great value. Home produced eggs, breads, tomatoes. Freshly squeezed juice. Comfortable bed, fast WIFI and hot water. fifteen minutes from the ferry. What more do you want? Only downside is early closing time of local restaurants.

Excellent B&B in Wexford. Comfortable rooms and spotlessly clean. Lovely tasty breakfast, with fresh fruit and cooked options. A short walk to the town centre for good restaurants and pubs. It is a short drive to Rosslare for the ferry (about 30 minutes).

Thank you for the excellent review, (& the generous tip!). Give Jesse an extra scratch behind the ears, from me. Our Foxhound's MRI shows a cavity almost the size of a golf ball between his nostril and eye socket, vet shall confirm results tomorrow, they fear the worst, the only consolation is that the patient knows nothing and still wags... It takes a very special place to change my initial perceptions but Caitriona and her disarming manner were successful immediately. We arrived at about quarter to five, to receive no reply at the door. We wre initialy concerned but on sending Caitriona an SMS she responded immediately, explaining that she would be with us soon and what he hold up... More

M&M hope you had a good ferry crossing, after a mixed bag of weather, (somewhat reminiscent of deep Winter) for the last 3 weeks, we now have our fingers crossed for a bit of an Indian Summer, God willing. Doing the books reluctantly, would prefer to be outside, made ketchup and chilli jam with the glut of tomatoes and spent... More

Welcoming, comfortable and splendid things to eat. I'm not sure whether I have ever experienced such a genuine and enjoyable B&B. A one night stay, tea and sandwiches offered on arrival, cracking breakfast cooked early to allow me to catch the ferry, modest but comfortable room with crisp sheets and a real sense of care and attention. Homemade breads, jam... More

My husband, parents, and myself spent out first night of our 2.5 week Irish holiday at this B&B and have to say that it was by far the best! Katrina, the owner, was amazing. She introduced us to her 2 dogs (Miss Ellie and Johnny) and 2 chickens (Mary Joy and Seinner) and we got to see her lovely garden.... More

Stayed one night in March 2014. Booking process was smooth and friendly as was welcome on arrival. Arrived back in at 01:30 to find heating and electric blanket on. Perfect! Offered lift to station in the morning, following a breakfast that really hit the spot. Highly recommend.

Caitriona was the best possible hostess! She was not only responsive to our needs, but actually anticipated them. She is also very generous in all things. Her rooms are clean and comfortable and attractive. She loves food, so the meals she provides are a cut above most B&Bs, and she does her best to provide you with the kinds of... More

You are treated so well...everything is really cleaned up and nice! The food tastes awesome and you can see that everything is fresh and organic! It just took me about 5 minutes to get to the main street of Wexford! Additionally there are so many nice places along the see to take a walk for! Awesome! I stayed here for... More
