Me my partner and our baby were looking for a break away booked a hotel but had to get outbooked to Slaney Manor. We arrived and were met with a lovely drive down a lane into an old country manor with horses grass field the works. First impressions were amazing. We arrived at reception and we met Margeret, this lady... More

We would never have found this wee gem ourselves, our friends were getting married near-by and Slaney Manor was recommended on the invite for accommodation. The grounds are amazing, total seclusion. On arriving we decided that we would walk into Wexford Town 5kms away took us around 40 mins or so. Margaret is the perfect host, great breakfast lovely fruit... More

The service provided at Slaney Manor is top notch. Our room in the manor had a huge and comfortable four-poster bed and a view down to the river. Breakfast was fresh and tasty - the fruit salad in particular was lovely. Margaret made us feel instantly welcome. Slaney Manor is a very peaceful spot and easy to get to from... More

We had intended to stay somewhere else but ended up here unexpected. We had a very friendly welcome and got a twin room in the manor. Beds were very good and it was very quiet. Only downside was an outdated bathroom with a shower that was too low. Good value for money.

I had a lovely stay with my Granny and my Mum a month ago. The grounds are absolutely stunning and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. Breakfast was lovely, and the beds were so comfy!! We stayed in the manor and I honestly couldn't ask for better!! THANK YOU :)

My girlfriend and myself came here for a pitstop before visiting my family while back in Ireland. The hostes Margret was really helpful and gave us directions to the nearby beach. We liked it so much we stayed there again on our way back to the Ferryport to sail back to England. Top knotch. Sorry there's no pool or fitness... More

We stayed here for three days and we didn't want to leave. Margaret and her dad are amazing interesting people and we learned a great deal during our stay. The manor is beautiful, the grounds spectacular and the food and service top notch. It couldn't have been a more pleasant stay.

We stayed here over 12 months ago and really enjoyed it. We had always planned to come back and were delighted when another online deal came up, so we snapped it up. We are very glad to report that that we enjoyed Slaney Manor as much second time round. We love the arrangement of the rooms around the pebbled courtyard... More

The host, Jim, was very friendly and the full Irish breakfast was very good. However, we found the rooms in the stables to be very small and the décor very dated. The en suite was tiny with the sink right behind the door. The restoration of the stables was done with great care - it's a shame the décor of... More

We had a really enjoyable stay here early September, good medium sized room in the courtyard buildings, lovely setting, just a few miles from Wexford town were there were plenty of good eating establishments. Great hosts,James and daughter Margaret, very friendly and informative about the area and places of interest. Great breakfast each morning with Margaret making sure we had... More
